Apr 3, 2026 at 2:01 PM Just finished it and was trying so hard fill the void of a Mike Flanagan series. Was a watered down version of The Fall Of House Usher and the main character was annoying and poorly written.

There’s even rumors that their wives ghostwrote it for them plus there’s been multiple allegations of them stealing the Stranger Things concepts from other people. It wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest if that’s true. Either way those are great explanations alone for why each season just kept getting worse and worse. The behind the scenes documentary for Stranger Things season 5 really exposed how incompetent they are.

Apr 4, 2026 at 8:44 PM You put Walking Dead that up there? Never watched past the first couple seasons and some talked about episodes like the Glenn stuff but i enjoyed it. I think Breaking Bad is leagues above the two personally but I like them. The more time I have Away from it the more I'm souring more of S5 of Stranger Things, feel like it missed by not jumping the shark too much and making it a full on apocalypse like the S4 cliffhanger suggested or they should have kept it small like S1. Felt big with no stakes instead
