Apr 6, 2026 Nic Cage is very entertaining in it but I really like the cinematography, it has a good sense of tension and the script and performances are very emotionally detached purposefully and I found it to work really well to aid in the uneasy feeling. Not for everyone for sure but really interesting
Apr 7, 2026 This is not true for 2 reasons brother. First, I'm not negative I've seen nothing but praise for it. But no show will ever surpass my favorites especially not a crime show Second; for me it's best to go in with low expectations. When I watch something expecting it to be the best ever it can only et me down lol. Went in expecting Hill House to be boring as s--- and LOVED it. Went in expecting Wednesday to be teenage drama but ended up reallly liking it!
Apr 7, 2026 This is exactly what I meant before. I've watched Longlegs a while after it dropped and expected it to be one of the best ever (maybe wishful thinking). I liked it a bit but still felt kinda let down. Worst experience was The Monkey though. Wanted to like that one so much lol. Same as US and Midsummer

Apr 7, 2026 Yeah it was dorky and I kinda liked the goofy s--- but I guess it being a Stephen King story I really was ready for some scary s---. And not a corny one lmao. Story itself wasn't bad though. Got a bunch of horror movies lined up to see but gonna calm down and start @ spooky season except maybe a few.

Apr 7, 2026 I loved the first part. Reminded me of the Strangers. Also realllly liked the 'twist' (body swap) and overal message nature vs nurture. But when that whole line s--- started and they started to scream like r-----s I couldn't take it seriously anymore lmao
