I cant be the only one who feels that the Cavs are one of the worst teams to make it to the finals in recent time. If this team wins the championship my mind is gonna be blown. Don't get me wrong they are good, mostly because of Lebron but if you put them up against any team in the last 10 years to win a championship it would be a sweep every time.

Spurs, Heat, Dallas, Lakers, Boston, etc were far more better teams than these Cavs.

Which is why if the Cavs win, this will be LeBron's biggest achievement yet IMO. An injury riddled team that had a relatively easy road to the finals, but will now have to beat the Warriors (more than likely) who had one of the best regular seasons ever. But yeah you're right. The Cavs are probably one of the poorer "teams" to make it, but the LeBron effect trumps that.

He has carried the team, show me where anybody argued against that. He's getting hate because of his unbearable "look at me" personality.

I think they're comparable to the pre-Heat Lebron led Cavs teams without Kyrie but Kyrie (healthy) is the difference between them getting swept by Golden State and possibly being able to make it a series

I love LeBron but sometime he's just too selfish.

Lebron "carrying" the team is kind of getting blown out of proportion. Carrying implies that he is out there dragging average-poor players along for the ride. Carrying a team is like what he did in 07 before getting swept by the Spurs. Compare Kyrie, Shumpert, JR, Mozgov, Tristan Thompson, and Dellevedova, to Larry Hughes, Donyell Marshall, Drew Gooden, Damon Jones and Boobie Gibson. Not even close in terms of talent. This team is built around Lebron perfectly, and every player on the floor compliments him and makes HIM better as well. He is an amazing player and an all time great, but the media coverage on him is just so poor sometimes. He gets praised for things he shouldn't be getting praised for (carrying this team to the finals), and criticized for things he shouldn't be getting criticized for (not being clutch). I just hate the way the media is sympathizing with their injuries. We know you're hurting Bron, we know you're tough, now stop talking about it every time a mic is in your face. Everybody is hurt. Kyrie has tendinitis? So do at least 50% of the players in the league. Too much focus on things that don't involve anything on the court. Everything is just so dramatic with this team. But, they are very good and will make for a great finals matchup whenever the Warriors decide to stop playing with the Rockets.

Wish I could like this 100 times.

Edit: I still don't think that would be enough.

i don't think "selfish" is a fair criticism of lebron james. you're talking about one of the most UN-selfish nba stars ever. that's what makes him great...the fact that he averages around 7/8 assists per game. he's always getting everyone else involved. he doesn't forget about his teammates. i'm not some super lebron supporter or defender..............but sorry......."selfish" isn't an accurate criticism of him.

i think a more accurate/fair criticism of lebron is that he's not that good of an outside shooter for a player of his caliber. don't get me wrong, i'm not saying he's a bad shooter. but seeing as lebron is the best player in the world......his outside shooting isn't too good.............he's really struggled throughout the playoffs when it comes to shots that WEREN'T taken inside the paint.

It's actually probably worse then I'm making it out to be. I've let quite a bit slide.

He's always been a poor shooter. His FG% never really reflects that though because so many of his shots come from inside or around the paint. He rarely takes 3's or long 2's.

i'm excited for this NBA finals matchup of cavs versus warriors. should be a competitive match-up....which would make up for the poor conference finals we've had to watch on BOTH the east and west-side

like most, i think the warriors will win. they've obviously had a harder road to the finals. and besides that, i just think they're a better overall team

i don't really care who wins. on one hand, it'd be cool to see the cavs win because ohio sports haven't won anything in such a loooong time. but on the other hand, the warriors haven't been that successful of a franchise either

In November I had floor tickets in Cleveland for me and my two brothers for Cavs vs. ATL and three weeks ago I took my nephew to see the Golden State conference semi finals game where Steph got his MVP trophy. I'm a fan of both teams and excited about the Finals.
