May 28, 2015 SremmLife is a good album too, but it has more cringe moments than ALLA by far IMO. Both have a few songs that needed cutting. @Mike Tyson mudding is a rural white people thing, I wouldn't worry about it. It's literally just driving fast in the mud so it sprays everywhere.
May 28, 2015 I wish I jumped into this discussion when this started so I wasn't so behind. So many things to comment on. I don't know where to start :/ @Narsh you usually have decent opinions so I won't bag on you for being a little too harsh about this album, but you seem bias tbh. Kind of like you had a predisposed framework that this album didn't fit into. But you're favorite tracks align decently well with mine. Holy Ghost >>>>> almost everything in music rn. Joe Fox ending >>>> ..opinion is just for now though because the sound and vibe of that song is so f---ing crazy and nothing matches it and until I'm tired of the sound/vibe I'm sticking with that opinion lol. Feels like I'm riding a Harley into the gates of heaven. @Mike Tyson a few days ago you said L$D was rap SOTY and I was caught offguard at the time. I respect your opinion enough to try and see where you were coming from and why you thought that and all I have to say is... yup. Though Holy Ghost has grown on me so much and the vibe & energy it gives off is just as crazy. Excuse Me is same way. You couldn't have said it more perfectly though. This album puts you in a mood and gives you vibes. You don't have to put yourself in a mind state for this album, it'll do it for you. I also think this album is a good progression. He didn't really change his sound in a profound way but I wouldn't want him to do that. He enhanced his sound with this album and IMO took it in a great direction. I think Rocky sounds great with a bit of the classic rock/psych rock influence in there and it's a direction I never imagined Rocky in but this music is the essence of Rocky. This is A$AP and he didn't compromise on one track to stray away from that for focused commercial success. Idk what else to say. I have a bunch of scrambled opinions about this album and I'm not the best at articulating those opinions. Wish I was!

May 28, 2015 i know its a super stark deviation for rocky but as a standalone song it seems very pandering doesnt interest me at all unless im forcing myself to vibe to it (which you obviously can do if you have gr8 production and a smooth hook). ive been out of my kid cudi phase maybe im out of my rocky phase too

May 29, 2015 L$D is a cool song but the album has better songs imo Maybe the song just isn't for me Edit: why cant i remove faces on my phone after i use them. I missclicked that Cole face and now it doesnt go away
