I got Warriors in 7. I think we will get a great series, but GS is just as, if not more talented than the Cavs. They have the edge in coaching, but CLE has Lebron. I'm interested in seeing what they do with Curry on defense. I'm guessing it will be Shumpert on him the majority of the time, but that would leave Kyrie on Klay or Barnes. Lebron will probably have some combination of Barnes, Draymond, and Iggy on him, so that will be another interesting matchup.

Riley Curry is the real MVP

Cavs will steal game 1 or 2 (I'm guessing 1) and everyone will go crazy, then Warriors will win in 6. I'll predict Warriors take games 2, 3, 5 and 6.

Just got an alert saying that the Bulls have dismissed Thibs. Will post a link as soon as one is available. We had some good times, but it was time for a change. Front office needs to find the right guy, this team is ready to win now.

    Yep.

    http://espn.go.com/chicago/nba/stor...o-bulls-fire-tom-thibodeau-coach-five-seasons

Kinda expected I guess with the reports that were out recently. I'd love if the Lakers got him but highly doubt they abandon Byron Scott after only a year especially after they were quick to give up on Brown and D'antoni.

Yeah same here. I was just reading a report that Thibs apparently turned down Doug Collins offer to join his staff last summer to help with the offense, only to be turned down by Thibs 10 days later. :noah:Front office was not happy when they learned about it. This was right after he lost his boy Ron Adams to GS.

He was a good coach, and was a perfect fit when he got hired in 2010. It was a roster with some talent, with guys like Rose, Deng, and Noah. Outside of those 3, the team was mainly filled with role players, most of which were defensive specialists. We were able to win games because they bought into his defensive system,, and because it played to their strength. This year was a much different roster, with players who were not known for their defense, outside of Butler, Taj, and Jo. We needed to play an up-tempo game, similar to GS. Rose and Butler moving in space would have thrived, and with Pau in the post, it would have been a perfect compliment. The offense was just so slow and stagnant all season, most of the time it was hard to watch. Thibs failed to adapt to the roster. He was stubborn, and was determined to play the same style that he had success with in his 1st few seasons. The players on the team grew and improved, but Thibs did not. That is the main reason why he was let go. The drama with the front office most likely stemmed from that issue.

I think he can have success in Orlando, because Payton and Oladipo are very good defenders. They're actually pretty comparable to Rose & Butler as far as their skill sets are concerned. He may end up succeeding with a team in the future similar to Doc, but he is not the right coach for the Bulls.

I'm not sure GS have anyone who has a remote chance of guarding Lebron, feel like he might dominate the series

Thompson might be smaller, but he's a remarkable defender. I don't think he made an All-Defense team this year, but he very well could've. You can make an argument that he's the best 2-way SG in the game today. That's coming from a Dwyane Wade die hard lol. Him, Green, Iggy, and Barnes will probably all get looks at him throughout the series.

Wade is apparently open to leaving this summer if the Heat don't wanna pay him enough.... I can see why he'd want the money, (Kobe situation) but I think he's being a little ridiculous. As much as I love him in Miami, he's past his prime and can't stay healthy. If a deal can't be reached I'll be so sad tho.

Golden State is far more talented. Cavs probably wouldn't even be a playoff team without Lebron.

Idk how many of you remember, but if you signed up for the S80 bracket we did before the playoffs started, the link is: http://nbabracketology.com/group/view/2651

I'm in second place behind @Kold and he has GS winning it all when I have the Cavs winning it all. Kinda cool to look at now.

I think they defintetly could if their roster was completely healthy. They could have easily won more games than Boston, Milwaukee, and Brooklyn.

Dwight Howard suspended a game, so he'll miss the first game of next season.

Heard Love opting out is looking more and more like a probability. Supposedly he hates the role he plays as a "stretch 4". They didn't let him post up at all because it clogged the lane for Lebron. I remember hearing Bosh felt similarly about his role.

Anyways supposedly the Celtics are in the mix but I'm not holding my breath. If they did land him they could make room for a 2nd max contract and that's w/o touching the 3 golden Brooklyn picks. Definitely a pipe dream since they don't sign big name FA's ever.

Sounds like Fred Hoiberg will likely be the new coach of the Bulls.
