May 28, 2015 I don't get why every fake track list only has Shady artist on it. Is that even realistic for a movie, aside from something Like 8 Mile, the Wash, or Get Rich or Die Trying, etc., to only feauture rap songs? And I keep seeing D12 pop up, f--- that. I don't want them anywhere near the soundtrack. Everyone's acting like this is Shady XV 2. Big budget Hollywood movie soundtracks don't typically work like that, it doesn't make sense. I can realistically see Eminem having 2 songs, 50 Cent having 1, and the rest being a normal movie soundtrack. Equalizer had one Eminem song.
May 28, 2015 My thoughts exactly idk why people are making this out to be the next Eminem album or something. Eminem, 50, and Royce are confirmed but doesn't mean it'll be only shady records artist. People are setting themselves up to be so let down.
May 28, 2015 i could see Em & 50 on a track together, maybe some of the Shady Artists like Slaughterhouse & Yelawolf and some solo Em songs or featured songs. anything's possible with this soundtrack.

May 28, 2015 I agree, but Eminem is supposed to be heavily involved with this project. He was supposed to be the lead actor in this movie. Not like the equalizer where he just layed a track and that's it. h---, i didn't see anyone mention it but it wouldn't surprise me if Em had a cameo appearance in the movie. Would be nice.
May 28, 2015 Shady Records President Paul Rosenberg: “We have been involved in developing Southpaw since it’s inception and Eminem has dedicated himself to ensuring that this film captured his passion for the project through his music. We’ve assembled a great soundtrack to accompany what’s sure to be one of the finest boxing films ever.” While it may not be a shady records album, i'm sure the soundtrack will have more than just 1 or 2 Songs from Em and the rest of shady. Eminem usually doesn't produce anything other than hiphop.
May 29, 2015 I understand he's one of the executive producers and was originally slotted for the starring role, but regardless a Hollywood movie soundtrack is not going to only feature one artist or record label. Can you imagine if Shady XV was a soundtrack, it makes no sense. There's s lot of moving parts. We'll know soon enough, but I think people expecting an entire new Eminem album, or Shady Records album worth of material are being irrational. h--- the 8 Mile soundtrack only had 3 Eminem songs. Dre produced the Training Day soundtrack and he had one song. I'm only saying this because every fake track list I've seen thus far only features Shady Records artists. However, I wouldn't be surprised if Yelawolf made an appearance because they debuted one of his songs on Sons of Anarchy and it's the same writer.
