I thought Cain got hurt again? Whatever happened with that?

After seeing how crazy a fight Andre Arlovski vs. Travis Browne was last night at UFC 187 it got me super hyped for the return of Cain Velasquez. Werdum has become far better since JDS KO'd him back in the day and of course Cain is the baddest man on the planet so this should make for a great fight. I feel like Cain will outwork him and punish him in the clinch like he did JDS in those 2 rematches.

It will be super interesting to see what happens if Cain takes Werdum down. Werdum was able to submit the overrated Fedor but i don't like Cain would let it happen as he would be GnPing the h--- out of him like he did Antonio Silva.

Yes Cain got hurt and thats why Werdum fought Mark Hunt for the Interim HW belt. Now they'll fight to see who is truly the Heavyweight champ, hence the name of the PPV "There Can Only be One"

Yeah boxing always had such great Heavyweights in Ali and Tyson, it's a shame the UFC's version in Cain has been getting injured so much. UFC needs great HW's so it's great to see him back. I hope he keeps winning so we eventually see Cain vs. JBJ one day....

As for Gilbert Melendez, i was very shocked to see how quickly Pettis beat him. Excited to see him return now and i'm picking him to win this fight in exciting fashion.

Not a stacked PPV but it is sandwiched in between last night and the Aldo/McGregor show so i cant complain.

Main card had been assumed for a while since they did face offs at some random press conference in Mexico. Also same thing with Cejudo as the featured prelim. Little surprised with Tumenov's guaranteed KO opening the night, that should have been on TV.

Everyone should be rooting for Cain so then we can eventually see Velasquez vs. JBJ when he returns. Those are the 2 baddest men on the planet and its a shame that fight will be postponed big time, assuming it happens at all. I feel like right when JBJ returns he'll just become LHW champ again so then that super fight makes sense since Cain will most likely keep winning. I don't see anyone at HW beating him

I just want to see Cain active and fighting different ppl. I mean since the Brock fight in October 2010 it's been...

    JDS-November 2011
    Bigfoot-May 2012
    JDS-December 2012
    Bigfoot-May 2013
    JDS-October 2013

Would love to see him back in October for UFC 192 in Houston against Arlovski, despite that being a squash match.

Crazy to think the last Velasquez fight was my first UFC PPV I ordered, way back in 2013.

I think a Cain loss honestly brings that fight closer. A super fight between champs has never happened. It would be a lose-lose.
I can't root for him anyway. He's crippled a shallow division even further with his injuries.

Well JBJ virtually cleaned out his division other than AJ, so if Cain keeps defending his belt then either JBJ comes back as a HW or wins the LJW belt again right away then they could finally fight.

Sadly it seems like Jones will be gone for a very long time though
