Arguably one of the top comedy shows on television right now (if not the top). Can't wait for the 5th season next year. Anyone else watch Louie?

I heard he filmed it at one of the shows, probably not the one I was at, but there should definitely be a new special soon. Think that was at the best level he has been, it was about 80 minutes

guys this season was great, but aside from that the 2 part finale was fantastic smh

how can something be so weirdly dark/moving/funny/clever/meta/transcendent all at the same time??

like, there were some gripes i had but as a whole, my feelings are entirely positive.

Louis CK a living legend.

so my roommates and i watched the live at the comedy store stand up special just now and it was soooo good. i was dyingg the whole time

how much he's improved as an actor in general has really helped his performance

thoughts @Swizz @captain awesome @CharlieWork etc

I watched liked 10 minutes of it and wasn't in the mood. It felt a lot less polished and meaningful than his previous stuff. Like his work ethic was turning against him. I should probably give it another shot soon.

Louie is a great show even if I do roll my eyes whenever he tries to go arthouse. His youngest daughter is at the age where she's incapable of being a good actor atm tho.

And the content of the set is redundant to some extent but his execution to me was just so great

He uses them well no doubt. I just noticed that his youngest daughter had the old "child actor" thing going on this season.
I mean regardless it's Louis CK, he's no hack. Maybe it only paled in comparison to his other stuff for me. At least the little that I saw.
