Jun 3, 2015 Prison Break fans, rejoice! Fox is working on a special, one-off season of Prison Break with the show’s former leads. TV Line reports that Fox, who has created several “limited event” series like this one over the past couple of years, is currently developing the new season of Prison Break with original stars Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell returning. The revival is only being planned as a single season and it’ll be “closed-ended,” meaning the story will come to a close by the end of its 12-ish episodes. Over the past few years Fox has created several limited event series, including ones for 24 and their Broadchurch remake Gracepoint. Though the latter didn’t work out, the 24 revival was a big hit when it aired last summer. If the new season of Prison Break doesn’t work out, fans need not fret. You can see Miller and Purcell together in the Arrow and Flash spinoff Legends of Tomorrow when the new series premieres on the CW in the 2015-2016 television season. Prison Break originally ran for four seasons from 2005-2009. http://www.hypable.com/prison-break-new-season-fox/ http://moviehole.net/201591233prison-break-returns http://uproxx.com/tv/2015/06/prison-break-might-be-coming-back-to-fox-as-a-limited-series/
Jun 3, 2015 I wonder at what point in time during the original series it would take place seeing as Scofield is dead
Jun 3, 2015 this or it'll be some weird twist on how he actually survived and disappeared somewhere but s3/4 are so cringe..wonder what caliber season we'll be working with
Jun 3, 2015 Haven't watched it since its original run, but seasons 1-2 were fantastic. Three was aight, four was awful in just about every way. Would have been a great show if they ended it after s2. Can't see this being good.
Jun 3, 2015 Binged through seasons 1-3 a few years ago, stopped watching halfway through season 4 because it morphed into a s-----y CBS crime drama.
Jun 3, 2015 This show went from being excellent to quite possibly one of the worst television shows ever created. I remember back at RB when we all used to make fun of how terrible it was. This won't be good.
