Jun 3, 2015 Eminem started to make s--- music when bass brothers stop being involved and em moved to his new studio....put 2 and 2 together...
Jun 3, 2015 You both have a point. @Arch Dogg is correct that BME was good for what it was. Interviews have shown Royce pushed the idea of even releasing BME to Em. The two of them had just mended their differences and were messing around in the studio enough for Royce to suggest putting out an EP. @Brubbels is correct because BME was lacking in some regards in comparison to other projects Em's put out. And XV was (hopefully) the climactic point of Em's fit-as-many-words-within-each-bar-as-possible-look-here-can-you-believe-Im-doing-this-right-mneow semicheah
Jun 3, 2015 Are you serious? It's the complete opposite. His last features are his worst. He completely ruined the songs he featured on Shady XV because of his s-----y flow. Psycopath Killer and Detroit Vs Everybody was completely ruined by Em imo. I don't even know how someone can enjoy those verses. They sound so out of sync to me. He sounds completely off compared to the others. i just can't enjoy the rest of the songs because of it. Compared to his Forever, Drop The World, No Love verses it's night and day.
Jun 3, 2015 Fine Line was fantastic. Psychopath Killer was fantastic. Detroit vs Everybody was ok. Best Friend is overhated because of one line Speedom is overhated because of speculation about the verse being sped up
Jun 3, 2015 ^ Here is where we generally disagree. While I'd overall rate Big Sean > Danny Brown > Royce (for the "A Wise Man Told Me.." line) > Eminem on that song, I still can't possibly see how Eminem completely ruined that song particularly when considering how each of the other rappers in that song arguably got their start by the Em/Paul machine cheahchehahcheahcheahchea
Jun 3, 2015 No.... You can't say Eminem gets unfair hate and than go ahead and call BME great lol. SSLP is great, MMLP is great, TES is great, BME doesn't fall in that category.
Jun 3, 2015 Yes. Encore, Relapse, MMLP2. Encore and Relapse are flat out bad. MMLP2 was very disappointing. Recovery was great. And of course you have the first three classics.
Jun 3, 2015 MMLP2 isn't bad, more so it's average as f--- and lacks the replay value that even the worst eminem albums have
Jun 3, 2015 Welcome To h---, Fast Lane, Above The Law, Lighters, and Take From Me were all GREAT songs. That's half the EP. BME and Recovery were great imo, but albums like SSLP and TES were the next tier up, classics.
Jun 3, 2015 Encore definitely, Relapse: yeah, not for me, but a disappointment for many people, MMLP2 got good reviews (Metascore of 72, in comparison the 1st Mathers LP got 78) and is for most people I know easily the best post hiatus album.
