    I'm hoping to see this from the Oilers:

    1. Connor McDavid
    16. Evgeni Svechnikov
    33. Oliver Kylington (or Ilya Samsonov if he's still here)
    57. Mackenzie Blackwood (unless we get Samsonov)

    Kylington is probably going to rise as well, but it's a deep draft so let's see what happens.

    Sounds like the B's could move Lucic tonight or Dougie Hamilton to move up in the draft since they apparently arent close in negotiations.

    Hamilton is looking for 7 mill a year if they give that to him then they basically cant do anything else this off-season.

    Makes sense for a cap crunched Boston to trade for a cheaper (albeit presently less effective) young defensemen, but Arizona dealing for a d-man when they're desperate for a #1C? In a draft where both Strome and Marner are available to them?

    They've got to be thinking of flipping Hamilton if they're really trading for him lol. OEL-Hamilton would be a nice pairing though.

    Hanifin is a Boston native too, so that's cool for Boston.

    I would love to see this:

    To Boston: #3 overall
    To Arizona: Draisaitl
    To Edmonton: Hamilton

    Addresses everyone's needs and Draisaitl > Strome and Marner imo but I'm a bias Oilers fan.

    Ya i cant even pretend to know anything about the draft outside of McDavid and Eichel, hard to follow them in the states.

    Theres also rumors of Lucic to Edmonton as well.

    also, two expansion franchises are 98% locked in. City A is completely a go. the 2% is if the coyotes go to City B, but everyone is pushing for them to go somewhere else.

    Thats pretty much the same compensation they would have gotten if he just signed somewhere.

    Im more mad at the B's just handing McQuaid four-years, $11 million.

    There is no way that the Oilers couldn't have put together a better offer than that, though. Another GM already tweeted that the offer accepted was less than what they pitched.

    Apparently the Bruins wanted Darnell Nurse. Edmonton offered the 16th, 33rd & 57th. Calgary offered 15th pick, 45th and 52nd.

    Apparently Lucic is on the move to the Kings for 13th pick as well as other pieces. That would give the Bruins the 13th, 14th & 15th picks tonight.

    WTF is going on.

    seems like a fu to Chia for some reason. If Chara doesn't return to form next year Boston is going to be a bottom 5 team.

    I think they should trade Chara while they can, see if he'll wave his no trade and then tank. I dont even know why Claude is still the coach.
