Jul 1, 2015 Sucks so much for McGregor. I've been hard on him in the past, but I don't want the hype trail to be derailed. Hope he beats Mendes just because I feel Mendes doesn't deserve another fight against Aldo so soon

Jul 3, 2015 Same, Mendes has more ways to win. Mendes back when he was in the WEC was a blanket, and even in his early UFC fights. He would take guys like Rani Yahya(one of the best BJJ guys in the UFC) down and just lay on him when he was clearly the better striker. He had zero confidence in his striking even going into the first Aldo fight. But after he got KO'd by Aldo he became a different fighter and the strength he used to drag ppl to the ground translated into big time KO power. Anyways just weird how him and Aldo kind of went the opposite ways, Mendes finishes everyone now and Aldo really only has 1 finish in the UFC(Korean Zombie doesnt count). But ya i think Mendes has a better chance of catching Conor, he has more punching power then Aldo does and again the wrestling aspect. Im still going with Conor because i cant picture a world where that guy is humbled, i dunno. Anyways Conor has been talking about fighting on that Dublin card in October. He would be a definite if he loses but if he wins i wonder if they would give him a low risk LW fight. Maybe someone like Diego Sanchez since they kind of have a little beef. If he loses though Cub or Lamas would make a lot of sense.
