Jul 8, 2015 I don't know, I think Chad will win. Much like others have said he'll probably pressure him and take him down and just lay there. He's a "white belt" on the ground as Conor says lol. I obviously want Conor to win. I don't like Chad, never have. So I'm hoping for Conor to win but I think like most I'm unsure if he will as those top guys are on a whole different calibre. The fight is obviously huge but it's funny how the embedded videos haven't really featured the WW belt. I don't blame them though, Rory's personality is a robot and his voice is so monotone. The fights almost here. Predict: Chad Mendes Robbie Lawler Want: Conor McGregor Indifferent to who wins. Though Robbie would be pretty sweet as his style is awesome. Rory because he's Canadian.

Jul 10, 2015 I know i haven't posted in MMA related threads in a while but I've still been following everything. Just wanted to say man... Mcgregor is something else.... @redsoxx put it best, it's impossible to imagine a world where he's humbled. His self-belief is the most incredible thing I've ever seen. You never see a chink in his facial expressions when he says the things he says. There's self-belief and then there's Conor Mcgregor. I think when you're sitting across from him at a press conference like that and you see it for yourself... it must just take it to another level. I mean, Aldo has been around forever and hasn't been defeated in a decade and Conor makes it look easy breaking him down mentally and bullying him. He's such a special individual. His overall demeanour is fascinating. It's like he has zero doubt in his mind... even though that's impossible unless you're insane... but I still almost believe it.... because he's given me no reason not to. If he beats Mendes on Saturday... he'll likely be even more of a favourite against Aldo. We'll all be witnessing greatness. He'll rise to a higher frequency. He's great atm but I believe this fight on Saturday will be the difference between novelty and real greatness.... like that once in a lifetime greatness. I mean if he beats Mendes... who's gonna beat him? Possibly Frankie, but I feel if he proves himself against Mendes and finishes him... We'd be foolish to doubt him at all anymore. Such a great time for the sport of MMA. EDIT: And I don't mean to write off Aldo like that if Conor beats Mendes.... but honestly, I think Conor will beat Aldo if he can get past Mendes. Certainly no mismatch tho lol
