Jul 27, 2015 Well his voice has changed a lot but I think 2010 was his last major change as far as his voice
Jul 27, 2015 Agreed. I always loved it just sounded so raw. Just gave him an extra ruthless edge for some reason with me. He just sounded that extra bit crazy.
Jul 27, 2015 I'd say he lost his Detroit accent after MMLP1. His voice matured by TES era, and got calmer cuz of the narcotics he was taking in the Encore era. His voice did get deeper over the years as in Recovery, but in albums like Relapse and SXV he sort of masks it.
Jul 27, 2015 Yeah you can tell where he is at (voice wise) by his speaking voice. His speaking voice now is a lot lower than it used to be.
Jul 27, 2015 but i have to say eminem does a good job at delivering in a higher pitch without going all lloyd banks.
Jul 27, 2015 The sslp flow/delivery along with the nasal voice is the best to me. It just adds to the persona.. The Detroit accent was good too. Even when his content was weird with sslp it sounded fitting because of the playful sounding nasal voice. I like TES voice too it sounded so natural and smooth. I think when he raps normal (Deja Vu, going thru changes) his post hiatus voice is similar. It's always something with him tho ( good voice bad flow, bad voice good flow) etc
Jul 27, 2015 I'm actually really digging the voice he's using right now, especially like how it was on All I Think About. It sounds so laid-back and casual yet interesting and enjoyable, it's really reminiscent of his 99-01 style while still remaining true to his current, more matured sound.
Jul 27, 2015 It started with the second half of his "drop the world" verse. However, the most significant change was when he dropped the "despicable" freestyle to promote Recovery. You can tell this is when he really started the rough, lower-tone yelling voice. He sounded normal on the non-accent Relapse songs. Here's a comparison:
Jul 28, 2015 too many niggaz don't know what a vocal range is or what EQ settings are, nor do they have a grasp on the concept of vocal inflection eminem's voice been more or less the same his whole career
Jul 28, 2015 When Encore came out his voice was totally different. There were many theories at the time. But that's when everyone really noticed that he didn't sound the same.
