It also has to do with the fact that drake once said he didn't want to get compared to kendrick who only had 1 album...and now people (and even rappers) saying kendrick is on his way to have one of the best catalogs ever. Drake's made a career of mixing both sounds into a cohesive project. For every Marvin's Room & Own it, you have UGK & SFTB. This can and will work just fine.
