On your point about him being more delusional - how could he be? This guy thinks he's going to become president and end poverty. He thinks Get Out was about him. Delusional is definitely the word that comes to mind

To your second point - you're absolutely right. I have a family member who is very mentally ill and it really only developed in adulthood. He refuses to seek treatment and unless he gets violent, it seems like there is absolutely nothing we can do about it. I'm not saying Kanye's circle of friends and family is handling this well - I have no idea. But I would suspect that in many ways, their hands are tied until Kanye admits that he needs help

I don’t think I’ve seen anyone in my life have a mental breakdown to the level Kanye is currently having, and yet people don’t want to believe it.
