    Im not a huge fan of him as a person .

    But I do feel a bit sorry for him now. He is very very unwell & has been since his mother died.

    Alright, seen the tweets now.
    Agree with the people saying this is clearly the thoughts of a man who's going through it. Why would anyone want to promote an album like this?
    This is the exact irrational behaviour that has been putting people off Kanye for a while now.
    I've seen mental illness from close by expressed in a much less public way, but it still look eerily similar.

    I get that it's easy to just brush it off as "Kanye being Kanye" when you're not familiar with mental illness.

    @Koolo, highly doubt kanye is lying or acting. i think the grey area is what combination of whats going on is genuine mental illness, raging untethered celebrity ego, or drugs. makes it all that more depraved imo, especially when u consider what his handlers are feeding him, or allowing him to do. pretty sick.... dont think its unreasonable to question how this is being orchestrated, IMO he's been totally co-opted, but seeing kanyes eyes during those clips its clear the guy is offfffffffffffff

    It probably is. Who knows, maybe the Kardashians are all in on it, including Kris. Drama is their go-to storyline, and it works every time.

    I’ve known people who started posting exactly like this on social media when they had manic episodes. I doubt it’s fake. He’s genuinely in need of meds/an inpatient facility for a few months.

    I don't think he's faking it, but I do think he's utilizing his mental illness for the same publicity cycle he's been doing for a while, now.

    Which brings up the question: Is utilizing a mental illness like this unethical?

    and no its not just a mean for stress. Cuz im sure releasing albums isnt just the only stressful thing in his life but these “episodes” only happen days before album releases

    He’s not faking it lol. He’s had continued mental episodes for the better part of four years other than when he was hospitalized/on meds and Kim was able to get him to stay off social media for a minute.

    If it was album promotion why would he announce 500 albums that never come out? He’s announcing these to be released on arbitrary dates while he’s in the midst of manic episodes. It’s a symptom not a cause.
