Just got to watching this. It was better then expected but a few thing's bugged me here and there.. Any theories on what is up with Micheal? They kept showing those eye tattoos, i assume they are very important. Look forward to episode 2 to see where this is going and if i'm gonna stick around..

This show got unbelievable a long time ago

I watched season 4 with my jaw dropped to the floor at the level of suspension of disbelief that was required. I was half expecting the characters to face the camera and tell us that it's a prank

I mean, the company is the most powerful organisation in the world that uses the sun's energy to do things that aren't possible with current technology and the characters end constantly switching between working for the police, the company, Michael's mom and the U.N. like what the f--- is this some James Bond movie? Am I the only one who just can't get over that?

I was actually glad Michael got a deadly tumor because only the sweet release of death was the logical ending to that cluster f---


But, Michael's not actually dead and now they're in the Middle East with ISIS? f--- it why not. I'm surprised they're not rescuing him from the Death Star now

I watched the original series when it was first on last decade. I loved it from episode 1. It was and always will be my all time favorite television show.
I just want to say I am very disappointed with how they escaped from Ogygia. I know there's only 9 episodes but hate how they started off and Michael already has over half of his escaped planned. It was a very lackluster escape compared to his previous ones. Now, they only escape because of ISIL taking over and his lazy way of getting out of solitary. I always loved the genius writing they did for Michael. Truly genius plans in the original. This time he isn't showing the same creative genius. They better have some other crazy creative plans of his later or I'll be upset. That being said the show has been great so far. They have just dropped the ball with Michaels genius this time around. The reboot needed at least 15 episodes to fully build the escape properly I think. It was so popular and the demand for it coming back was crazy. I don't know how they didn't order more episodes.

Man, there's actually a s--- ton I could talk about with this show. Like how they haven't mentioned LJ. Where is Sophia? Clearly, Lincoln and her separated somehow but what the f--- happened with that!? Where is the mention of C-Notes family? He was last seen as a UPS driver. Uhm...his wife and daughter will just let him go off to Yemen to save Michael?? Are they even still together? His conversion to Islam seems a little too convenient to fit the storyline. No mention of Sucres Maricruz or daughter too? It's annoying. The creator said there was just no place to write in Alex Mahones character??? How?? Lincoln enlisting his help to save Michael makes SOO MUCH more sense than getting C-Notes help. He and Michael never really got along. Mahone was a perfect character. It would have been better leaving out C-Note to see Lincoln and Mahone go to Yemen to get Michael. Oh well...

What did you guys think of the season?

I thought it was cool but it got pretty ridiculous at times. The whole concept of Lincoln going to Yemen to save Michael in a war-torn country was so ridiculously far fetched. The least they could have done is made it more believable rather than all h--- breaks loose and Michael escapes in midst the chaos while fighting with terrorists lol (the scene where Lincoln jumps on the mounted machine gun and shoots all those terrorists is so cringe worthy). I feel like they really could have broken down the plot of this season and made it into two seasons. One season with Michael trapped in the Yemen prison trying to break out with Lincoln and company on the outside trying to help. Another season based on trying to get back into the U.S. and k--- Poseidon. I feel like this way they could have done more: introduced more characters, give more background, build up suspense etc. This season felt super rushed and like they just crunched all these ideas together. I did like how they pinned another really smart guy against Michael and how both used game theory to try to out maneuver each other. That was pretty cool.

I thought that the last episode happened all too quickly, the could've gone into much more detail of how they framed Jacob right at the end, and Michael being told within 2 mins of the interview that he was free to go was just abit silly imo... It was a sick series, but it defo felt rushed

Yeah, they definitely could have done more with this season. I just hate that they strayed away from prisons so much. Like the show is literally called "prison break" and Michael was only in that Yemen prison for what? A quarter of the season? If that.... this show is at its best when it's based on Michael having to get out of some where. When they're outside the prison setting it turns into a stereotypical action movie. I loved this show at first because it really showed step-by-step how Michael would plan to break out and if things changed, how he would adapt to those changes. You didn't really get to see any of that here because everything was so rushed.

tbh i see this as quite the f---ing redemption of a show

with an additional 1-2 episodes, they could've definitely stretched out the ending and gone into more detail and such with the ending but i'm cool with what we got

so so much better than the last two seasons
