Nick Bosa for Defensive Rookie of the Year is a pretty easy call. I know we had a couple 49er fans here but don’t remember their usernames lol.

TJ Watt for breakout player of the year. Watt was a total wrecking ball this season. This is definitely deserving. Shoutout @dna hits

A.J. Brown for offensive rookie of the year. Brown came out of no where. Pleasant surprise for Titans this year. I don’t think we have any Titans on here lol.

Are there rankings for these awards or just the winner? Wanna see where Miles Sanders, aka the best back in the east going forward, came up. @Enigma

Just winners unfortunately. The best RB in East not named Saquon Barkley would actually be this kid:

I can’t say I agree with AJ Brown as the best rookie. Over Josh Jacobs? Are you f---ing kidding me? That’s an insult to the rb’s physical health from that season. I could be wrong, but I think AJ got big towards the end of the season. There were rookies who played consistently good. Other than Josh Jacobs, I would say Singletary showed the most breakout agility like back for rookies f--- I think I’d rather have Metcalf to be serious.

Brown was a monster though. 52 receptions, 1051 yards, 8 TDs with 462 yards coming after the catch. He was just explosive. He did this with two different QBs this season too.

Lamar Jackson for offensive player of the year is interesting because he didn’t have the highest grade among all offensive players (George Kittle did) but Jackson was certainly the most dynamic player. I don’t think we have any Ravens fans here?

This should surprise no one. People may be sick of Donald continuously getting this but he truly is that dominant.

Yes. They started doing this somewhat recently but none of the grades/metrics are public yet I don’t think. They’re still tweaking with how to go about it I’m pretty sure. From what they’ve tweeted out, Andy Reid & Mike McCarthy have both graded really well.

George Kittle wins PFF’s Stephenson Award which goes to the best player in the NFL regardless of position. I like to think of it as an award to the most dominant player in the league. George Kittle certainly was that. I said last season that he could very well be the next Gronk & he certainly lived up to the hype this season.

Just a freak of nature. I feel like most fans understand he’s a great player but they really don’t grasp how great & dominant he actually is. He doesn’t always have the super flashy stat numbers but he’s constantly dominating at the line of scrimmage both in the run & passing game. His pressure rate for a DT is unreal.

What are your thought on George Kittle? Obvi you were a big fan of Gronk & honestly, Kittle reminds me so much of Gronk.

Calais Campbell takes home PFF’s best run defender of the year award. For the past 4 years, this award was won by Damon “Snacks” Harrison—Campbell breaks that streak this season.

This is what I love about these PFF awards the most: players knowing that their hard work & elite play doesn’t go unrecognized just because it isn’t flashy.

Dude, Donald is like my favorite player not on the Pats. He might be the best DT I've ever seen, and I'm a huge Richard Seymour guy. He's absolutely the complete package.

I like Kittle a lot. I actually drafted him in fantasy this year, but as far as an overall tight end? He's great.

One of the things I respect from him is his blocking, like Gronk. You can see he's a beast in run blocking and sets the edge for his backs.

It’s crazy because he’s not the size of your typical DT. He’s smaller but still really powerful & more athletic. Honestly don’t think I’ve ever seen a player as dominant as Aaron Donald in the NFL.

PFF has been grading players since 2006 & they looked back at the 10 best season long grades they’ve given to TEs in that time frame—Gronk has 5 out of the 10 best season long grades they’ve given to TEs. Just pure dominance. He had the best grade they’ve ever given to a TE (2011 season) until this year Kittle broke that with a ridiculous 95 overall grade.

In other news: PFF best offensive lineman award goes to Brandon Brooks. Shout out @Boos

You do know he only won the award because he’s in the Super Bowl now? And most casual fans just realized he still plays football this year. Most thought he retired. I wouldn’t want that old f--- anywhere near my team. Maybe 5 years ago. We have better, younger talent at CB than someone on his last legs. He’s the type to go on a meltdown if he didn’t get this award and call the nfl racist and tell BLM and Vice Lords, Latin King gangs to do a bunch of crazy s---.
