Sep 10, 2016 I'm one of Eli's biggest critics but is there really another QB more deserving of that #10 spot? At least we've seen flashes of greatness from Eli.
Sep 10, 2016 its amazing how lucky the packers got by landing favre and rodgers BACK TO BACK! you've got a better chance of winning the lottery. you're talking about 2 guys who will both be first ballot hall of famers. they've only had 2 quarterbacks since the early 90's

Sep 11, 2016 lol @ this garbage a--- list. Articles like this frown on bad statistical years, but Brady's 2013 (25 TD, 11 INT) year was one of his greatest years ever. Totally under-appreciated, just like his 2006 year. He lost his top 4 receiving options from the previous years (Aaron Hernandez, Gronk, Brandon Lloyd and Welker), and managed to lead multiple comebacks with receivers that don't even have jobs in the NFL lol. One of those comebacks being against the prolific Denver offense, where they were down 24-0, and Brady completely s--- on Manning's stats in that game. f---ing GOAT.
Sep 11, 2016 I don't think you understand how PFF goes about their grades. They ranked Brady the 90th best player in the league in 2013. I don't think that's "frowning upon bad statistical years" at all.
Sep 11, 2016 He was ranked 90th out of like 1500 players in the league lol. That's not a bad ranking at all. Edit: he's one of four QB's ranked on their top 100 players list of 2013. In other words, PFF had him as the 4th best QB in 2013.
Sep 11, 2016 Very embarrassing list, people can obsess over stats all they want, in the end what matters is winning. Brady at 4 is an absolute joke lol.
Sep 11, 2016 You're kind of preaching to the choir here. PFF has always set out to be a website that attempts to evaluate football players as fairly/unbiasly as possible. NFL Scouts and coaches use their grades/analysis as well so they're well respected. Any half-brain football fan can count rings and we can have the typical QB discussion from there but PFF actually grades every player/every play.
Sep 11, 2016 I'd demolish their arguments in regards to Peyton and Brees. Aaron Rodgers is real deal though. Only thing he don't have on Brady is he's nowhere near as clutch. Manning and Brees' teams cater to them, so stats are inflated. They surrounded them with deep threats, first round talent at all positions, and aside from 4 years in Denver, Peyton and Brees played in domes. Brees has had 8 seasons with 15 or more interceptions. Manning has had 9 seasons. Brady and Rodgers? 0. Imagine if Brady had Reggie Wayne and Marvin Harrison in a DOME. Brady has always been the constant in New England. Doesn't matter how awful the defense is, who he's throwing to, how bad the line is, the Pats are always deep in the playoffs, and usually several wins a year are credited to Brady's fourth quarter play. List is f---ing dumb lol
Sep 11, 2016 Brady literally brought the Pats 3 of their 4 titles. We can sit here and credit the Pats defense, and I do. But Pats don't win 01, 03 and 14 without MULTIPLE PLAYOFF 4TH quarter performances/comebacks by Brady. They don't win against Raiders, Rams, Panthers, Ravens or Seattle without Brady. Pats defense broke in all those games. 2004 was just stacked. Pats were a machine that year. Nobody was f---ing with them.
Sep 11, 2016 I mean, this is thread is basically just breaking down into a 'is Brady better than everyone else debate?' Where anyone who thinks otherwise either doesn't actually pay attention to football or is a Peyton Manning fanboy Better QBs this decade? It would be easy for me to put Brady 2nd to Rodgers sure...but then you remember Brady played in two Super Bowls and dominated the NFL this decade too just like the last one...so
Sep 11, 2016 @Fitzy the list isn't even close to being dumb or embarrassing i understand if someone thinks brady should be ranked a spot or two higher. nobody is gonna think you're crazy for suggesting that. but its not like having aaron rodgers or peyton manning ranked higher than brady on a list like this is far-fetched.....because its not. tom brady is not way better than either of those QB's. they're pretty neck and neck. so i don't see why think the list is so crazy
Sep 11, 2016 PFF list is all statistical We all know the narrative @Fitzy Brady is not the statistical QB, he's the intangible QB
Sep 11, 2016 This argument doesn't hold much (if any) weight. Dogg, what you said above is a TEAM accomplishment. This list is evaluating INDIVDUAL players.
Sep 11, 2016 But they derive their own statistics and have their own grading mechanism. These aren't a bunch of guys sitting at computers punching in stats from box reports after games. They literally watch every game and grade every player in every play. The people who work for PFF are ex-scouts, coaches, etc. who've had experience in both the NCAA and NFL. Also, let's not act like @Fitzy is unbias, he's not lol. The people who work at PFF are.
