    My only issue with the Ospreary Ricochet match (and the one they had last year) is that it does expose the business. I'm not a fan of Cornette's outdated good ol' days were better ideology in wrestling by any measure, but the things these guys do when observed from an outside perspective (not the hype you have as you are watching this insane match) does kind of look like a dance with awful selling and presentation as a fight.

    The actual battle and work itself is remarkable though.

    I can enjoy the match for what it is (love both of these workers) but I prefer a less extreme use of this aerial choreography and more implementation of other, grounded, realistic and traditional wrestling styles.

    Business been exposed

    I think if wrestling is ever going to rid of the stigma it has we have to embrace the performance/art form aspect of it. So much of the hate comes from people who need it to be real or wish it didn't take itself so seriously. If you can present a faux sporting event with people getting that the guys in the ring are putting on a show instead of a fight, maybe the business can pick up some steam again. The corny male soap opera storylines and acting are never going to get us anywhere.

    Regardless of where we stand, these guys are changing wrestling. As Meltz has noted, people say the same thing about these high flyers generation after generation. We'll always have the other styles of wrestling to fall back on.

    I think what draws people to NJPW is that you do get such a wide variety of styles, from high flyers to technicians to brawlers, each match is different. With WWE, while you can count on some guys to give amazing performances, a lot of times all the matches just feel like they're following the same formula
