I said based on my opinion of the reactions and comments (pretty much rating him) over the years. I'm not saying he wasn't good, just overrated, evidenced by the fact you couldn't get into his discog.

Those 2 things don't conflate. The raspiness was cool, but he couldn't get it up to a volume or pitch level required for the best listening.

Proof didn't teach Eminem how to rap, TF you talking about? Eminem even says when they met he was handing out flyers for a show,and they were already both on the Big Daddy Kane complex syllable sound combine s---. I do respect proof for his contribution, and even like a lot of his verses and music, just think he was overrated by Stans worshiping him cuz they were taught to, not cuz they actually think he's that great. I don't know Eminem and don't really care what he'd think, I already know his opinion on Proof.

That's arguable, but even so, has nothing to do with what I said, or him being overrated or not.

I’m curious if it was proven too? I forgot if the full story was uncovered anyway (for as much as the public can be informed of). I still remember the exact moment I found out he died... May have started over pool but one would assume other things were said and done prior to the shooting. Forgot if these two knew each other or heard of one another. There’s probably more to the story we won't know. The guy probably wasn’t trashing Proofs pool skills then Proofs' next reaction was to put a bullet in his head. I forgot how drunk/high each party was and that obviously plays into effect. Also, is no one going to mention Proofs freestyling ability??? It was off the f---ing chain. The internet really exemplifies ignorant, uninformed, r-----ed, etc. narratives and that can be jarring.

The point is to discuss. You don't have to act like my point of view is a fact, if yours is different. As you can see, people have already disagreed. So offer something to the actual conversation or STFU and GTFO.
