Sep 22, 2020 At worst I could see the non-elder scrolls games being xbox/pc exclusive for a period of time before they drop on all systems. They're even publishing games on switch now, there's no way the give that up.
Sep 22, 2020 I'm pretty sure Outer Worlds was already in development for Ps4 when mS acquired Obsidian. It would have been a complete waste of their budget if they pulled production on the Ps4 release.
Sep 22, 2020 yes but it was already in development long before that; as far back as 2016 it seems. so if they were to cancel the Ps4 version it would not have made sense for business.
Sep 22, 2020 Copped the Xbox from Target. Sick to my stomach about it but couldn’t resist. I dropped my phone on my Maschine that I make beats with so I had to buy a replacement for that, so I’m out $1100 in the last week smh
Sep 22, 2020 I mean your point was that first party Xbox titles would never come to other systems except maybe Switch, Outer Worlds not only dropped on PS4, it did so a year before dropping on Switch. Psychonauts 2 is still set to drop on PS4 with no Switch version announced.

Sep 22, 2020 no my point was that Minecraft was the exception. Microsoft's IPs coming to Switch was a separate point; it has been going on in the past and will continue to happen in the future. The Switch version of this game came a year later probably because the game's development began before the Switch even existed, similarly to several other multiplatform games that released before 2017. The Switch port of Outer Worlds had its own developmental cycle separate from the Ps4, Xbone, and PC versions which all launched at the same time. that is what I was going through the night of the Ps5 preorders. Since that is my preferred console for next gen I guess I'll just save my energy for whenever the reup goes live

Sep 27, 2020 microsoft was asking for it with the stupidass naming. xbox 360 was the last time they had a good name for a new console. xbox one was a poor choice, because there already was an xbox one. it was the original xbox. xbox series s/x is a poor choice because the xbox brand is a series of video game consoles in and of itself. putting the word "series" in the name doesn't make any sense.
Oct 3, 2020 I coulda sworn I read somewhere that from a hard boot the Ps5 takes 2 seconds to startup. The video takes 20 seconds so I thought it was fake at first but the images give credence to it being real...
Oct 7, 2020 It's a dev kit most likely and it doesn't have full capabilities. It’s enough that they can do their development tho. (That’s what I hear) And first boot up may be long but after that it should boot up in a matter of seconds. IT makes no sense that a custom SSD is booting the same performance as the ps4’s. I’m no expert but that’s my opinion. Excited nonetheless.
Oct 7, 2020 I'm leaning to buying the PS5. Had a PS4 but honestly after a while I stopped playing. Will probably happen with the PS5 as well, so I might wait 'til the first hype is over.
