Hey guys I'd just like to take a minute to thank each and every one of you... You see, I'm unemployed right now, and as such have been struggling to make ends meet. Basic things such as food spices have become like delicacies to me. I'd been eating plain fries with ketchup for weeks before this thread showed up. But now, with all the salt from the people who can't fathom how someone could like Young Thug, I've been able to properly flavor my food and then store up some added salt for any future uses. Thank you, sxn80

I used to think I knew a lot about hip-hop but my knowledge pales in comparison to people on this forum like @Peter Parker, I feel it's ignorant & dismissive to question another persons perspective when it comes to s--- like music... @Sheriff Skippy do us all a favor and just lock this s---.

He "accidentally" missed it I think, or he's having trouble with his reading comprehension. The fact that I like YT is all he has to go by to discredit my opinion. Apparently the albums that I mentioned to be nominated in the thread you had made don't matter since I like YT (and he definitely saw these, because he posted some good albums too, then I posted others and he quoted me afterwards). I won't talk about other threads because he might have missed them while he was shitposting in Eminem threads. Looks like I only listen to young thug and started listening to rap last week, because of young thug; it's the cool thing to do, right? :kappa:

Man nothing can compare to vinyls, they somehow make music more special. I wish I could buy more but it's a very expensive investment for me, I have a small collection now, I'm trying to get all my favourite albums.

I'm comfortable betting against me in this matter, mate. Maybe I'm more familiar with some rappers but in general I think you're just being too modest now. Btw there's a thread about a new btnh compilation/album coming, have you seen it?

Maybe I'm just too young to get it, but I'm not really crazy about vinyls.

For me, it's because my dad's brother had a gramophone and the music sounded much better than anything I'd listened to (I'm talking about memories from like 1994 when I was a kid) so it's always been something special. Considering that the sound quality of actually good vinyls is amazing, and the sounds that Bleed mentioned, it makes it a different experience which you don't get by double clicking mp3 files. It sounds a bit stupid, but hey

In all fairness, where I live and amongmy age group of young adults, most people are only passively familiar with Nas. He's not THAT big anymore

Nas is still plenty popular but it's kinda sad knowing some young rap fans out there probably hardly even know who he is.

Eh, all good artists eventually fade into obscurity. It's just good to know that Nas was financially responsible and has secured the ability to live comfortably after all the work he's put in, and at the end of the day that's all an older artist can ask for.

Lol ur acting like Nas is 70, he's younger than Em, Jay, etc.

He's very much still relevant. Look at the first week sales for life is good
