This is really sad to hear. Truly one of Queenbridge's finest. He'll be missed.

    Rest in Peace.

Even though I've always known about his sickle cell his death still came as a shock to me. RIP Prodigy. What a dark day for hip hop.

I hated on Prodigy for so long because he always beefed with my favorite artists, and I thought he did a lot of corny s---.

But in saying that, RIP to a legend, and great memories.

He was a real one though man.

Goes to show... he was never afraid to beef with whoever, and which often led to physical altercations. P never backed down. Not like a lot of these f---ing studio gangsters these days.

Real mu f--ka man, none of this tough talk. If he was gon see you... he Was gon see you. Real talk.

I thought it was extremely corny to diss Tupac 7 years after he died. I didn't find that to make him a "real one" at all.

Plus dissing Nas and Redman was pretty f---ing lame too.

Oh and dissing Jay Z, then getting completely owned.

But, whatever, he did give me some good memories growing up, and I don't wish death on anyone.

Man the Pac statement isn't entirely accurate. They were beefing way before Pac died, and I doubt they ever reconciled. P wrote 'Drop a gem on em' about 4 days after hearing 'hit em up' according to what I've read in the past. Not long after pac was shot and killed.

Nas beef was real inner QB street s---. Some of people Nas run with always resented P for not being a Queens native, and there was bad blood because P worked with Cormega who of course had major issues from early days with the whole of the Firm. Neither of those were for no reason.

Redman probably got dissed because of his affiliation with Keith Murray who P has actually had a physical fight with in the past again according to what I've read here and there. All because of that subliminal on the Infamous prelude.

P dissed Pac in 2004 on a mixtape. Just to clarify, I'm not talking about Drop a Gem on Em.

Pac initiated the beef, which was pretty corny on Pac's behalf, plus him talking about P having sickle cell was dumb, but for P to come out 7 years after the man's death and talk s--- and act hard was just annoying. It's one of the lamest things I've witnessed in hip hop.

Yeah I know all of that other stuff, still corny to me.

I'm not trying to hear all of the excuses, because after a while, if you're beefing with THIS many artists, it's your fault. It's how I feel about Joe Budden nowadays (which, ironically, beefed and destroyed Prodigy too lol).

Prodigy was the best rapper at dissing great rappers then getting embarrassed afterwards.

But again, he's a legend, and it's sad that he passed, but I'm not gonna pretend like he didn't annoy the f--- out of me for the longest time.

    That's fair enough man.

I know what you're saying, P was too outspoken, and would happily talk s--- about anyone on any given day, rightly or wrongly.

Next thing you know if was all love. Lot of back and forth but like you say, it's all about the good memories man and the positive contributions.

Im bustin on HNIC as soon as I leave work today.

Don't wanna keep repeating myself... but I'm actually surprised myself at my own reaction...

I've never met this dude, but this has had a massive effect on me man. The oz's I blew and the times I had back in the day with my fam, bumpin those classics back to back, just smokin vibing, playing computer games etc. Maaaaaaaan. Feel like I lost part of my youth right here.

Infamous, murda muzik, h--- on earth, infamy, HNIC, Retturn of the Mac. The double disc MOBB dropped in2014 I think it was. They released a lot of timeless classic gangsta s--- man.

Prodigy was one of the best song writers we've had in hip hop, his pen game was unparrelled
