    The White dude is the same guy who did the Phife Dawg tribute last year and I think I saw him at the Phife street renaming ceremony too. He's originally from Queens or Long Island and grew up listening to Rap music. That's cool that he did this for Prodigy.

    DJ JS1 and Topaz did a Prodigy mural in Queens. I passed by yesterday and took some flicks. Hoping for more P murals to pop up soon.

    Couldn't make it to the memorial but from the flicks and videos it looked crazy. Especially when you consider the fact that they're in the rich af Upper East Side. P would have been proud.

    Sad news. I don't listen to new hip hop as much as i used to so i found out about P's passing kinda late. Would be cool if this was stickied instead of some trash albums discussion threads but that's beside the point.

    Everyone knows The Infamous like the back of their hand (or should) but these are a couple jams that weren't as well known or didn't get the same recognition, some Mobe songs & some features.

    Visited another P mural. This one is in Bushwick BK. One of the artists who worked on the Nas Queensbridge mural last year is currently working on a Prodigy one right around the corner. It'll probably wrap up this weekend. I'll pay a visit and check out the QB memorial as well.

    Yeah I passed by QB earlier this week as they were working on Prodigy's face. I'm not sure if they're finished yet but I'll probably pass through today. They've already gotten attention from local news outlets and Hip Hop outlets. I also want to check out the P tribute in LES.

    This is at Frank's Chop Shop downtown. I also stopped by the QB mural and spoke to the artists. They told me that they're close to finishing but it's not quite done yet. Out of respect to them, I won't post anything until it's finished. A lot of people were complaining about P's face but it looks more like him now. All of the images that people are posting don't reflect the final piece. They told me that the mural will be completed this weekend, possibly tomorrow so I'll head back depending on what they post on IG. Cool dudes, I hope this opens up more opportunities for them.

    I honestly can't believe that people have defaced the P mural at QB with white paint. I don't even want to repost that s---. I was just there talking to the artists, giving them props. I wanted to go back and take some pics of the finished work. Bad enough to disrespect a piece dedicated to Prodigy and it's worse somebody took the time and money to make art like that without getting paid for that.

    After being defaced a 2nd time, the Prodigy mural in QB is being permanently painted over. Hate wins again but not for long. Fortunately, I was able to see the mural before and after being vandalized. It looked it's best on Friday before it was vandalized the first time.

    Here's a flick I took yesterday after it was vandalized the first time and before it was vandalized the second time. SMFH @ QB right now.
