Original has aged poorly effects wise, but is the best in my opinion. T2 may be the greatest action film of all time, but a couple of dated funny moments stand out now. The continuity problems around John's age wind me up too.

Of the 3 lesser sequels, I actually like T3 a lot. Big step down from its predecessors, but Mostow directed that film with a great pace and a killer ending. I actually have an edit removing the more offensive 'humour', but even with all that s--- included it's better than what followed.

Terminator Genesys sucks. Arnie was surprisingly decent, and the opening act gets things off to a good start, but the film ultimately falls apart under its own convoluted plot. It's clear the writers spent all their time working aged Arnold into the story, and none on the story itself. Plus, who the f--- hired Jai Courtney? The guy is terrible. There is a small amount of fun to be had here, in a fan-fic kind of way.

Terminator Salvation is f---ing dire. The worst. Some good effects I guess, but basically bad and/or wrong in every other aspect.

Anyone who has the most recent Terminator film anywhere but last is a complete and utter fa----. I'd rather watch Salvation as many times as I'd have to than watch Arnold as the Terminator get arrested with the cops theme song playing in the background or him being called daddy or papa every two minutes. How is that obviously not that worst film in the series? I mean that's so much closer to the first 2 than 3 and 4 right? Smh.

You do bring up good points about the movie, it does have its flaws. But people aren't fa----s just because they don't share your opinion fam.

You have good points. TG is dog s---. It's frankly embarassing that it has competition for "worst in the series", but I believe Salvation still has it beat.

I know it's tainted now, but why didn't this series attract any good writers/directors after Cameron? Seems strange to me.

Srsly its a draw between T1 and T2 for me.

T1 was much darker and less humorous.
An awesome thriller with action movie elements.
For real this last scene in the factory gave me nightmares when i was a kid.
    :em55:

T2 was just an action movie but one of the best ever made.

"Women cry to Titanic. Men cry to T2"
    :lol6:

Buttom Line: T2 was overall the better movie, but T1 will always have a special place in my heart.

    Both are classics anyway.

    BOT: My ranking T1=T2 >>>T3 >T5>T4
