Look i don't know what you're talking about but Jay traded blows with Nas and the only time anyone remotely on Em's level went at him in Ross he has avoided him for literally years

    So

Nas is a good lyricist and rapper, but he's not all that beef-wise. Ether was pretty much a boast track instead of a diss track.

I think ether is overrated as f--- but still, battling with Nas is really something else compared to dissing pop stars and losers.

eminem in his prime was amazing--especially when it came to battling---so chances are there wouldn't be many--if any--rappers that would "roast" him

That's still fallacious. You're assuming that in order to roast weak opposition like Eminem faced, he would necessarily come back with weak disses. That's purely fallacious. Nail In The Coffin is a better diss than Ether no matter who it was aimed at. It's the mere fact it was a more powerful diss, given Ether was saying s--- like... Gay Z? Like, that's supposed to be taken seriously?

And when did Ross diss Eminem? Was that even in his prime for that to bear any relevance to the thread?

Still missing the point. I even made an analogy for this. Does a bullet become less efficient if it hits a weaker person? It doesn't. Eminem still has the better disses, it doesn't matter who they're aimed at.

No it's simply saying it's easier to look tough against weak competition and then add in the fact that you don't respond when bigger competition finally came knocking lol....

It's not an entire argument against Em but to say it can't be used as good support against him is dumb imo

No dummy but the question is what rapper is able to roast HIM. We have never seen him beef with another rapper. Yes he made great disses but the OP is not asking about that

I'm not talking about looking tough. I'm talking about diss quality overall.

This is not an equal analogy at all lol.

These are people we're talking about, public figures. Gauging Eminem's ability to diss on something aimed at someone of blatantly lower status isn't the same because it's easier to diss someone that isn't on the same footing as you.

@volvo Eminem dissing ppl not even on his level is no indication of quality. This is NOT the same as dissing someone else as Em inherently has the upper hand for several reasons lmao

I could roast the f--- out of the hobo down the street and he couldn't do s--- back

Does that make me an elite tier battle rapper????

Using @volvo logic this is all one in the same
