May 31, 2017 That's just fans that rarely listen to anyone else tho, I'm of the opinion he was scared to go out with a full on diss at Canibus because lyrically and technically they are equal as far as rapping goes, and to be drawn out into a full on battle he could very well come off worse. I mean EM joked alot about him and tried to distance himself from the beef alot, but during his prime he only made Canibitch which while funny, hardly destroyed him.
May 31, 2017 Meh, Canibus isn't as impressive as people make him out to be. But Em's deeply insecure anyway so I wouldn't leave him pussying out completely out of the equation.
May 31, 2017 True Canibus isn't the full package(he has some absolute gems tho), but rapping skill technically and lyrically they are equals, EM was defiantly shook about coming off worse, I mean how many songs on his classics has he mentioned Canibus? and still never went full on against him
May 31, 2017 Elevator in my house I'll smell ya later Because I'm in h--- getting f----- my Hitler Proof is in the corner getting a boner Because we been gay since the day we met f---ing with hats off with dre What the hay Paul don't you take some pictures today Sell them on the internet or maybe we should wait for the next anniversaray And Idk what the f--- anymore, rhymes dumb
May 31, 2017 Storytelling ability doesn't equal lyricism, would you claim Slick Rick as better rapper than EM based on that logic
May 31, 2017 So what? your claiming his flow and delivery was so much better than Canibus's that it wouldn't matter what Canibus came out with?
May 31, 2017 That's just a general consensus people jump into. Firstly, SSLP has the edge in the filler aspect. You can argue it has no filler, but even if you think it does, its filler tracks aren't as bad. SSLP is pretty much all about vivid storytelling through well-alligned multis and a great conversational flow. MMLP on the other hand has tracks like Under The Influence, Amityville, The Way I Am and b---- Please II which are just under SSLP quality. TES on the other hand has Square Dance, Say What You Say, When The Music Stops and Drips. SSLP overall is just more solid, the quality from the first to the last track is a lot more consistent.
May 31, 2017 But you claim he's a better lyricist than Canibus??? based off of his storytelling on SSLP? and Canibus wouldn't roast him if the full on beef came about? when Canibus by far had the better disses throughout his Prime years
May 31, 2017 You're trippin' hard by saying "The Way I Am" is under SSLP quality. TWIA is one of the best Em songs tho. You've said SSLP is more solid, the quality from the first to the last track is a lot more consistent - bs - it's great album, but it's just a bunch of tracks Em already had written before he met Dre. He just put it out on album. There's no consistency besides comedic aspect tbr. The Eminem Show has to be greatest Eminem album. Great flow, great songs, only 2-3 fillers. I mean... you can find "Sing For The Moment", "Say Goodbye Hollywood", "Till I Collapse" etc. on this album. What makes "Brain Damage" for instance better than any of mentioned songs? TES > MMLP > SSLP
May 31, 2017 I never said anything the likes of Eminem winning. Although his popularity alone would keep him safe. I'm just saying Eminem is the better lyricist, Canibus is not all that.
