May 29, 2016 It does feel more intimate if you get me. Gibbs has a layer of Madlib over him on Pinata that can take your focus off of Gibbs. I think I understand the minority who prefer SOAD now.
May 29, 2016 After listening to both again, I'd give Piñata a 7.5/10 and SOAD a 8/10 @Chad Warden Is that okay? Are you done with the effective gifs? Am I allowed back in the caddy?
May 29, 2016 You think you'd be kicked out of the caddy for that? The caddy is for life, for life you heard.
May 29, 2016 Pinata is a 9/10 for me and SOAD is probably an 8.4/10 f---in' Up The Count, Careless, Cocaine, Extradite, McDuck (best song by the way) and Mexico the highlights for me. The first half the album is more memorable to me. Production is great and the versatility Gibbs puts on display is brilliant.
May 29, 2016 I've only heard SOAD and Pinata I really need to listen to his other projects coz Gibbs really is one of the best out at the moment. Love his voice and swagger.
May 29, 2016 midwestboxframegangstamuzik rounds out his top 3 best projects along with the two you've heard IMO, I'd listen to that next.
May 29, 2016 Miseducation is his first good project, but most everything he has released since has been better in my opinion
May 30, 2016 8.1 Oh s--- this is back! SOAD is another great Gibbs project, there's a lot of standout individual songs and they flow pretty well as the album winds down. It's missing something though, like it tries to enter a higher gear but never gets to it.
May 30, 2016 I listened to it after I was done with Piñata and SOAD and it's great. It's f----- up on Apple Music for some reason. There's underscores in the track names and s---.
May 30, 2016 8 Gibbs is a fantastic rapper and after Pinata i was very hyped about this project. Album is cohesive and full of good songs, but it lacked the standout performance Gibbs had in Pinata. In for Bandana.
May 30, 2016 Gibbs one of my favorite rappers but i have to give this album 7/10 I would rate ESGN 9/10 and Pinata 8.5/10
