Views was my biggest disappointment in 2016. The album feels too long, boring and uninspired. A collection of non-surprising radio songs. But it has a few good cuts like U With Me and Weston Road Flows. 4/10

    Based upon 30 ratings, SXN80 gives Drake's Views a 5.2. Next up:

After a successful run of mixtapes (as well as impressive features on Kanye West's G.O.O.D Friday drops and My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy) Pusha T released his first solo studio album. Four years later, how does it hold up?

I remember anticipating this album so much. Day it dropped I went to Best Buy and copped the cd. Never really skip any tracks on here, except maybe Who I Am for when I’m not in the mood to hear Big Sean. The features were so f---ing solid. Hold On has my favorite Rick Ross verse of all time. Great debut project and one of my favorite rap albums. 8/10

I like the very experimental and unorhodox songs on this album especially the first 2 songs. But just as we get a really good high next song is some corn fest like no regrets or let me love you. Its just clear that pusha wanted some mainstream success with these tracks. It gets better at the end with nosetalgia and pain thats the sound that shouldve been throughout the whole album imo.

7/10 but the worst songs really bring this album down

Clipse dropped two of my favorite albums of all time and Fear of God/Wrath of Cain were dope (not to mention his GOOD Friday/Cruel Summer feats), so I was definitely anticipating this. The album starts out real strong up through Suicide (listened to that song so much the beginning of my last year of college). The subtle Kanye feature on Hold On is great as is Ross. But 40 Acres, No Regrets, and Let Me Love You are all total duds to me, and that passage really kills the flow of the album for me. As @Sign Language mentioned, Big Sean somewhat ruins Who I Am but that song could have been magnificent as a solo Push song (I don't mind 2 Chainz on there, but he was kinda unnecessary). It picks back up again with Nosetalgia and Pain, and despite SNITCH being kinda corny I like it alright. As @Loser mentioned Push is amazing on unorthodox beats like Numbers on the Board and Suicide and he's good enough throughout this album to warrant a listen, but the attempts at mainstream songs ruin the grittier, more experimental nature of the album.

I liked 40 acres and No Regrets. Let Me Love you was alright but Pusha deadass sounded like Mase.

Honestly I love this album more than the score suggests, it's uneven and those duds at the start of the B-Side ruin the momentum from those early tracks. With that being said, the highs on this album...Jesus Christ. King Push rocks, Numbers On The Board left me with a disgusting screwface and Nosetalgia is one of the hardest tracks oat, when Push is on those unconventional productions it's a match made in heaven, that and Pain are a killer one-two punch.

It could have been better but I still liked the way it came out and then he dropped another stellar album after...where's King Push at tho

8/10 Push has better projects but this solidified him as one of the best traditional spitters of all time. If push was rapping in 96, Biggie would look like garbage

yea im extremely biased on any Pusha related project becuase he is my favorite rapper of all time.

this a 10/10 for me. every song has amazing production and he is absolutely monstrous on this mic even 10+ years into his career

amazing album, one of my fav rap records ever

his first couple projects post Clipse dissapointed me in how normal they sounded musically. loved this one cause it's what i always lookin for from him. him rappin over complete otherworldly s---.

this s----s crazy. got Pain which sounds like some vietnam jungle s---, Suicide that reminds you why Pharrell is god, Numbers On The Board & King Push that sound like they're from another planet. its an absolute trip to listen to for the most part.

couple duds though. 40 Acres, No Regrets, Let Me Love You sound like they were literally designed to be skipped. or there's Who I Am, which is a good song, & then Big Sean happens. had he trimmed out a lil bit of the fat this thing woulda been a classic. still hella good tho

Some very skippable tracks, a few great ones. This was my jam back in 2013, but I haven't listened to it in a few years. Lost it's replay value for me at least. Numbers on the board is a solid 10/10.

    6.5/10.

Can’t rate/10 because I’m a lame and still haven’t made my way through the album yet. I’ve had it sitting in my iTunes for awhile now and everytime I go to listen to it I get distracted and stop listening or put on something else. I’ll get to it eventually.

Fairly inconsistent. Couple glimpses of Clipse-era Pusha, but he mostly seems to be on autopilot for this album. Autopilot Push is not bad tho.
