Jul 6, 2019 My personal favorite Cube album. Its not as well-rounded as Death Certificate and not as raw as AMW, but I've got way more enjoyment out of this just off the strength of Wicked, Good Day, Check Yo Self, etc and find myself returning to it most. Its his third in a row 10/10 tbh.
Jul 14, 2019 Back from the dead again. The Predator gets a 8.9 based on 7 ratings. Next up... UGK's Ridin Dirty @RateThisAlbum
Jul 14, 2019 Either this or Aquemini was my first Southern rap album I've listened to and g.d. what a first impression. Not one track f---in skipped. One Day still a major track I'm playing to this day, and I never knew til now that p---- produced that track (alongside Bun and someone else but still). That alone is worth a million points. Diamonds & Wood, Murder, Hi Life, each and every one of them. I think both p---- and Bun peaked here definitely. This IS the Southern album imo. You know what score I gave this already.
Jul 15, 2019 UGK really came into their own on this one, the first two albums were great but Ridin’ Dirty took southern rap to new heights. p----’s production really took off and Bun stepped up his writing accordingly. A landmark in southern rap and rap in general, it’d be hard to justify rating this anything but 10/10
Jul 18, 2019 10/10 Another easy perfect score to handout, this is arguably THE seminal southern hip-hop album or better yet genre defining album in general. Entire styles, sonic blueprints and rap jargon practically come from UGK, this album was p---- & Bun at their pinnacle. Ive mentioned this before, p---- C has this aura about him on a track. All of his lyrics have a purpose and that delivery is just so captivating, it's the perfect dichotomy with Bun's street sensibility, the two have a different but equally potent dynamic like Outkast. Overall not much more I can say that hasn't already been mentioned, truly a masterpiece
Jul 18, 2019 Ridin Dirty gets a perfect 10 based on 6 ratings. A first. Next up... Drake's Take Care @RateThisAlbum I remember exactly when this s--- dropped, Drake was surely reaching the top of the game with TC. Some features do kinda s--- here, except Ross obviously. s--- was mostly hits and several misses here and there. Is it a classic? Maybe, but it's undoubtedly a crowning moment for Drake. 8/10
Jul 18, 2019 simp music for man babies named s--- like Trent. 1/10 the one point is for andre's verse
Jul 21, 2019 9/10 Easily his best or 2nd best album. Drake is on point as well as the guests. Title song >>
Jul 21, 2019 Drake’s best album. Kinda falls off towards the end, but there are some undeniable songs on here 7/10
Jul 21, 2019 Definitely Drake’s best and really the only one I care to listen to on an annual basis. There’s a little lull of songs in a row, but for the most part it’s great and drake still sounded authentic to me. 8/10
Jul 21, 2019 9/10. Best Drake Album. I dont want to use the word "classic" but take care is one of the most representative albums of this decade despite having two or three songs that are s---.
