    @coca I haven't read a comment of anyone saying they disliked the production (besides you) and I personally don't take it srs because you cant even say why you don't like it...you just don't like it

    I can accept that people don't like it...what I cant accept is someone saying they don't like something by saying "its trash" as the reason why

    Nah. Illmatic is incredible and probably the best hip-hop album of all-time but I don't think it's a 10. This idea of a "perfect album" is mythical tbh.

    It's probably only an 8 but i gave it a 10 because of how unique it was compared to all the albums released in the last decade going from gkmc to this was brave and i think it paid off

    I don't see how anybody could rate this as a 10 when the last 10 minutes or so of the album is wasted on the sliced together Pac/Kendrick interview. That has to take off atleast 1 point right from the start.
