Im a beginner singer (I've been singing on and off for about a year, been in a young men's chorus for about 3 months) but a lot of people tell me I have a beautiful voice and singing comes super natural to me. Tons of people told me I sounded like The Weeknd or a young MJ when I first started singing last year so I started listening to their music (which is how I got into their music actually) to find songs I'd like to sing for practice. Dirty Diana is one of em. On no cocky s---, I do honestly think I could be a big pop singer once I get real vocal training. I've got a great voice and I sing a lot but I can't fully control my voice yet, hence shakiness etc. there are times when I can hit high powerful notes no problem and other times where I struggle. Excuse the little talking in the background.
Jan 23, 2017 I live in a large empty desert full of melancholy and sorrow and super slow connection so I couldn't listen unfortunately but I can read the raw talent in your neat words and your completely robust confidence. The bright future is close don't put me down.

Jan 23, 2017 Haha thanks man. Yeah I'm really confident in myself and my singing, I don't mean to come off arrogant but I really do believe I could be a big pop star with the right tailoring. The music industry is mostly based on connections, skill, looks/image & branding though so I'll need to cover all of those bases. Wasn't really trying all that much actually, just sang the song the way ive learned to sing it. My voice is real similar to his naturally (obv I don't have the range though, MJs was crazy) plus his and The Weeknd's music is how I learned to sing so you're gonna hear A LOT of them in the way I sing, although my voice is a bit higher than both of them . You're right though. I need to find my own style. My voice will always be similar to theirs but I don't want to be The second MJ or weeknd, I wanna be the first me. Still figuring out what that entails music wise. Still learning haha.
