Ugh no thank you. Just my opinion but I personally can't stand Not Afraid. And that chorus is painful to my ears. f--- that s---.

I equate Recovery with outside producers. No thank you. Just give me Dre and Bass Brothers, pretty please!

You are more than welcome to love that song. I personally can't stand it. I also can't stand beautiful. I just don't like those types of songs. I also didn't like cleaning out my closet. I cringe whenever I hear one of them (which is never lol). They are just so f---ing angsty for my taste. I want raw hip hop, not songs like that.

But to each is own. I'm glad you enjoy them, he seems to like making songs like that.

Love not afraid, but I wouldn't want him to keep making songs like this because that's not the eminem I fell in love with. Guessing you hate hailie's song too

Haha so this is funny. I actually think Stan might be Em's best song ever. Although, it's probably Lose Yourself number 1, Stan number 2.

My personal favorite though is either Till I Collapse or Criminal (9 times outta 10 it's TIC). Anyways, Stan has 4 insane verses and is arguably the greatest story ever told in a hip hop song. I love Stan. Plus it was just so d--- f---ing original when he first released it. Having said that, I never ever ever listen to it though haha. It's just not a song I would ever wanna bump. I like s--- that gets my adrenaline pumping.

Hailies song is also incredible since the emotion is so d--- raw and he's talking about how much he loves his daughter. He captured lightning in a bottle with that one and it makes sense he wasn't gonna include it on the album but Dre insisted. Plus it was his first real attempt to sing at a time when he was attacking all the signing boy bands. It was ironic and totally not expected. It was something brand new from Em. So that was pretty funny. And that verse at the end is fire. But again, I don't often listen to this. Ironically, when I listen to TES in full, I never skip this song. But when I listen to MMLP in full, I always skip Stan. Go figure.

I agree with everything you said about Stan, but I never understood why I skip it every single time I listen to the album s--- I even listen under the influence lol. Speaking of Stan didn't know the guy played Stan is the main character on final destination lol. Didn't know he wasn't going to put hailie's song on the album, but dre insisted. That's a cool little thing to learn thanks

Haha yes that Stan actor was a movie actor around that time.

Regarding Haillie's Song, yes that's the story. Em recorded it and planned to give it to Haillie when she was much older. Dre showed it to some women and they cried while listening to it. It was at this moment Dre knew it needed to be on the album.

How true this story is, I have no clue. I read that somewhere so take that with a grain of salt!
