Eminem Recovery is a classic

    recovery was a sad time for real eminem fans.when we heard recovery, we realised eminem had just crossed a line.there were no coming back.HE wasnt the same anymore, at least in relapse he was still pretty close to the original em(beat,lyrics,chorus).We thought that if he dropped the accent, the next album could be great,then we got recovery.An album that had nothing to do with the original eminem. What a sad time for real stans recovery was. the nail in the coffin was mmlp2, calling an album mmlp2 without bass bros productions and pop songs everywhere with a s-----y flow:eminem is done.

    if eminem ever drop an old eminem style album again Id be so shocked, I really dont see that happening.the flame is gone.

    People usually define a classic album on how it effects the genre, what it does for the artist, and the amount of 10/10 songs (or close).

    People must admit, Recovery DID put Eminem back on top of the world and the rap game. Eminem was back with Recovery. Sure it had its radio songs but what rapper during 2010 didn't have at least one radio song? Anyways, Recovery is not a classic but it is definitely a special album and should be for Eminem fans. It has some great songs but definitely not a classic.

    ^Recovery has seven songs that are all better than ANY OTHER SONG he's released as a solo artist since his comeback. Therefore it's easily his best album in the past decade. Content wise, it might be his most meaningful album to date.

    No, its not a classic. the only post hiatus album thats close to a classic is mmlp2
    best selling album of 2010.. yeah "flop"

    I'd think it'd be the most meaningful to him by a pretty wide margin

    not only is it the only cd ever with two diamond songs but it also represents marshall surviving the darkest depths of celebrity

    Definitely not a classic in any universe, because it didn't change or reinvent anything

    But I'm happy I got Talking 2 Myself, GTC, Seduction, Space Bound, LWTYL, and you're never over out of it

    Are you kidding me the amount of songs that followed the formula of love the way you lie.

    Not a classic though. Great CD though. Best since Eminem show.

    Its great, but I wouldn't consider it a classic either. Only his first three albums are classics imo.

    SSLP- 9/10- classic
    MMLP- 10/10- classic
    TES- 10/10- classic
    Encore- 6/10- okay
    Relapse- 3/10- bad
    Recovery- 8/10- great
    MMLP2- 5/10- average

    Quite similar ratings to mine. I would score encore 3, relapse 5 and MMLP2 6 though.

    take out wont back down and on fire. Then add cocaine and fly away. Would of been a near classic 8.5-9/10 album
