To me Kamikaze is universes above Recovery. I understand it’s one of Ems more favored albums though so I understand if anyone thinks otherwise.

OP thinks he's a wizard or an oracle or something for pointing this out. No s--- sherlock - Recovery has more classic/great songs. But in all honesty it's still not that much better than Kamikaze since both albums are littered with filler. Recovery: 7/10 tops, Kamikaze: 5.5 - 6. Pointless thread.

Recovery’s highs are higher.. but I think nostalgia would play a part in that winning.

I think Kamikaze just gets this. It’s the first time I listened to an Em album since recovery all the way through without feeling underwhelmed. I was smiling like a kid and I didn’t think Marshall would bring that out of me. Felt like he was actually “back”. This could change tho it’s still early af

Kamikaze is his best album since TES, imo. Recovery was decent & I haven't bumped that album in about 2 years lol. Kamikaze is the return of the Eminem everyone was all waiting for & is an album that will be remembered because his last two albums were in the state of downfall as he was getting negative feedback/backlash. Relapse imo is even better than Recovery.
Recovery just felt way too mainstream and didn't give me that typical Eminem vibe. Relapse did & so does Kamikaze. I'm not saying Recovery is trash, but Kamikaze is way better (poll doesn't lie) & down the lane it will be a memorable album.

They are different .
Recovery was for the masses, a global hit.
Kamikaze is for the hip hop community, he is triying to gain respect.
Both are important works at their respective moment of his career
