    Ye is better made music, obviously.

    But in terms of impact; lasting impacts, songs? Definitely Recovery.

    Is there anything on Ye as impactful as most of Recovery? s--- no.

    Recovery is good and all but its no where near as good as ye wtf are yall talking about.

    Maybe if it was shortened to 7 songs it would be

    Surprised to see this forum grow up. Thought it would gobble up anything kanye s----s out as usual.
    Its a nice change.

    Yes recovery is way interesting, memorable, focused and overall a better album.

    Actually with both sometimes lol.

    Agree w @Holy Water tho because most people voting in favor of Recovery aren't stanning like 'its 10/10' or something, but actually writing decent posts backing it up.

    'People listening to recovery dont deserve ears' is more immature than anything eminem fans said here (altough I agree w Zeberdee that songs like wbd and ltwyl are pure s---).

    This thread really does make it seem like things improved as far as ye vs em discussions go.

    I haven't listened to Kanye's new album yet and not sure I will, still haven't listened to whatever that last one was called...life of pablo I think. I am kinda curious to check out this new one though.

    But I can still say with 100% certainly that my vote would be against recovery, which was the last Em album I'd ever want to listen to at least till Revival came out then i wasn't sure. But Em's horrendous singing, cringe punch lines and the s-----y pop beats make it about as bad as music can sound to me personally, not too many albums in all of music I'd want to avoid more than Recovery.

    Zebedee pretty much covered my thoughts on this.

    I am by no means blown away by Ye, but it is an interesting listen. Recovery in its released state is a chore. Cut down to 7 tracks, you would lose a lot of filler but it wouldn't be any more coherent. A lot fans of "Love The Way You Lie" here nowadays? Cause you know that song would have made the cut regardless. Em seems fond of "Won't Back Down" too. On a 7 track album? gtfo

    still kinda bland, but probably more fulfilling than ye tbh

    Because I would also call Ye 'better made music' than Graduation. But are the songs more impactful? No.

    Not pretending everything is black and white good/bad is not 'Eminem fans'. It's called nuance and intelligence.
