Oct 30, 2018 Yea theres a couple of them ive unlocked havent done any tho the law already hates me enough rn Because everytime theres a witness.. they gotta go No exceptions
Nov 3, 2018 So a week in for most people... Is this def a must-have? My fave type of games are story based games and driving games but for some reason I didn't enjoy RDR1 (I'm also one of the very few that has tried to play the Last of Us 4x and still can't get half way through it because I get bored of it). I'm strongly considering picking this up on pay day.
Nov 3, 2018 It’s a must-buy for sure Lengthy story, incredible graphics, extremely detailed & most of all just lots of fun to play Can’t possibly see how anyone can play this & say it is a disappointment/a waste of money
Nov 10, 2018 Dat Ending !!! OMG ! Remember when the first trailer dropped and some folk said Arthur looks generic and will never come close to John Marston? They were so wrong lol I seriously never thought I would say this but Arthur >>>>>>>>>> John, easily! (And I love John) But Arthur is easily in the top 3 characters of Rockstar Games. Gosh this Game is a true Masterpiece and I cant wait to play RD Online.
Nov 10, 2018 It's been a while since I've been obsessed with a game. I love it. Some of the movement and cover mechanics get clunky at times, but it's RDR2 is a masterpiece
Nov 10, 2018 Everyone’s opinions are on point in this thread and I highly recommend the game to most people. But if you didn’t like RDR1 or The Last of Us because you found them boring then you should also be aware of the combat. If you don’t like using dead eye during combat (the max Payne s--- where everything slows down to a near stop so you can aim and s---t everyone at once), the combat leaves a little to be desired. The default sensitivity is painfully slow to me but you can adjust it so you can aim a little better. Even without dead eye though, the combat still requires some handholding to reliablely s---t people by using the auto aim assist feature (which is enabled by default). The world, graphics, missions, various stories, etc. are all on point. No area really feels the same and Rockstar once again captures that era and lifestyle perfectly. But the weakest part of the game is the actual combat which to many people, this is the most important thing. I feel like RDR1 was much more fluid in the combat and therefore more enjoyable (to be honest, I haven’t played RDR1 since it came out so I might have some revisionists history going on here). Don’t read too much into this complaint though, the game is a work of art and still really fun as h---. There’s a reason it received critical acclaim. It deserves every single accolade it receives. I just personally wish they spent more time getting a better combat system in place. Or making it a little less clunky for non dead eye people. Having said that, whether you use that feature or not, the combat is still fun and engaging. I just feel it could have been a tiny bit better. Kind of annoying how you have to rely on dead eye and/or aim assist. It doesn’t take too much away though. The game is a true instant classic though.
Nov 10, 2018 Game is a lotta fun but s--- man like how is their a witness every time i s---t someone. like i could be f---ing stabbing someone deep in the woods and im wanted all of a sudden, like is Jesus reporting my crimes to the police or some s---?
Nov 10, 2018 It's weird I really liked it but due to my impatience things became a total clusterfuck with witnesses and cops and all the s--- you can do or have to do it made me stop playing like f--- me I've got enough problems irl I don't need another source of stress. It was like living two s-----y lives simultaneously
Nov 11, 2018 Haven't played as much as I would have liked at this point but this is easily one of the most immersive, impressive games I've ever played. I've been vocal about RDR being my favorite game of all time and this one is gonna match it or top it, no doubt
Nov 11, 2018 haha yeah it's a fun game but it's slow. In GTA I'd steal an airplane to get back to where I needed to be, but here you're stuck on a horse and can't tire it out trying to get where you're going. Definitely need patience
Nov 12, 2018 I'm late to the party and getting it this week. Held off with the sheer amount of games I have to get through, but f--- it.
Nov 16, 2018 I'm so f---in far behind I can't relate to what like any of you are saying. I've played maybe an hour or 2 at most so far, I like it even though it's fairly slow so far but s---..I'm working a new schedule now and I hardly got any time. My work days are busier so when I'm home I'm exhausted and basically just eat, sleep and watch sports. I need to start getting off work and riding horses and shooting people so I'm ready for some rdr2, my post-work days lately make it sound like I'm ready for a game of the sims instead. Also i saw someone talked about the ending and I avoided the rest of the post, but d--- use a spoiler tag too(assuming we still got em here on 3.0, haven't even checked..)
Nov 18, 2018 Luckily he didn't spoil anything in his post. I finished the game 2 weeks ago so trust me on that.
