    Depends, I guess. Do you wanna attract more 14 year olds who can't take a dislike or do you aim for a crowd little older and more mature who can take an opinion different from theirs and aren't scared off cause they think they might get some dislikes on a post? If everything is moderated you shouldn't be too afraid of abuse cause then you just intervene. If there's likes then there should be dislikes, it's a simple balance. I'd understand if this was just about reps tho. I don't mind them being gone.

    Yes, people didn't sign up on SL because of the hostility and because of the system. The vibe is totally different when you implement sth like that.

    To be clear, I can unterstand both sides (pro- and con-implementing), but I support the current system. And I don't support it because I'm a like-whor- (I'm not), but because this will support guests to sign up. And if you don't like the current members, you might like the future ones.

    Why not just use the ignore feature if the member so s-----y and you don't like their posts?

    can we get any or both of these at all? not always tryna leave a full pm, reps are much more convenient

    dislike system would be nice also, don't see why implanting any of these would be a real issue

    look how many diverse fanbase we have here...look how many threads we get that goes over 300 posts....something that was IMPOSSIBLE to do on sl if it wasnt eminem related

    im talking music only...cant care less about OT for now...yes we had big threads on SL but im talking about the norm....here is totally different field .. they just dont compare

    you guys tripping on nostalgia and dont remember things straight

    i wanted dislikes..i fought for it at november 2014...then when i saw sxn80 these months...and compare it to SL...trust me bro..you have no idea how good we have it

    I didn't sign up on SL because of that (I actually did 2 months before it closed because it was basically dead and had 4 posts in total compared to my 1,7k posts here). Right here, I feel free to say everything what I want to express and that's sth I really appreciate.

    Imagine someone signing up and getting a dislike because someone doesn't like his avy and/or name (SL obv used to do that sometimes). He/she will probably have doubts of wanting to be active here.

    I'm happy with this system. But I'm happy as well that we're having this convo (it's essential for what S80 wants to be now and in the future).

    Reps are dumb.

    Dislikes could be fun, but we don't want to promote negativity within the forum. But it's not like we're not already extremely negative, so who cares.

    You think dislikes are necessary but likes aren't? Kinda speaks volumes about you mate lol.

    I can understand wanting dislikes but it was abused like f--- on SL. People would just dislike every single post of a person they disliked. It was stupid. It just alienated members and made for more of a hostile environment. I understand people wanting this feature, but do you really think it will do any good? SL was the prototype. Growth has been made... it doesn't make sense to take a step back.

    After likes were added on SL I feel like no one really repped anymore. Dislikes would be welcome though. Some of you need to be taken down a peg

    Or just make it another perk for Plus members since half of them are on that cool cat s--- so you know if they dislike a post it must've been real awful
