Get it, you won't be disappointed. This is the 2nd game I actually played the entire campaign of in probably 3 years or longer. This game had me addicted and I still enjoy going back to the game and do re runs. It's just a really fun, interesting game. However, the resident evil series are my favorite video games of all time so I may seem a little biased.

Definitely buy the resident evil remake package that gives you 0 and 1. You'll get a feel of the original resident evil series and I personally feel those older RE games are better horror survival. 7 was my favorite since 3, but those old resident evils s--- all over 4-6. You actually have to be careful using your ammo and health is a lot more limited. The puzzles are a lot more difficult.

Last re game i really played was re2. i beat that game a few times with both leo and clara
(think thats her name?), one of my favorites oat. I dl'd re5 demo a while back but never got into it enuff to buy. hearing good things about 7

Yeah replay it on madhouse, but don't give up after the first boss fight with Mia when she has the chainsaw. That's one of the top 5 hardest points of the game on madhouse. You will have unlimited ammo, after finishing it on madhouse and makes the game easy after that making you want to replay it.

I also agree with what you said about the ship part. My main complaint of the game is that part of the game. I would have rather the boat lead to a different island with another mansion than the ship. I just want to get the ship part over with instead of exploring and enjoying it.

Yeah RE2 was my favorite of all time. Replay value wise 7 is up there with the old classics. Trust me man 7 s----s all over 5. Me and a college buddy had a blast with the re5 co op on the hardest difficulty but if it wasn't for playing with a friend on 5 then it would have been really lame.

I actually re bought re4 few days ago and started playing it yesterday for the xbox one. It definitely doesn't have me wanting to go back and play it anytime soon, but just don't see how I spend hours playing it everyday back in 04.

d--- @zanny danny , you might make me go pick up this s--- today lol. Although I feel it's a little risky dropping 60 on this game I'm not even sure about but it does sound and look great.

I also just started a smoke break and was gonna keep that up till mid march but I enjoy being when I get into a really good game..

So f---.. basically saying not sure what I'll do lol.. might see if red box has it first.

Well me and big country both said this is the first game that got us hooked until the end in a long time and I'm not a big gamer so I feel it's worth the buy. I don't see the price dropping anytime soon from how good reviews have been and it's remaining popular. You could probably rent it on redbox to make sure you like it, but I'm sure you will.

Yeah I really miss smoking while playing a good video game. Haven't actually smoked since October and actually been fine with only what my pain management doc prescribes me. I do miss playing the old resident evils while stoned now that you have me thinking about it lol Still may get an edible next time I get the chance on buying one and put this game in once it kicks in.

Sounds like the story really draws you in and holds your interest from start to finish which is a huge plus for me. I mean yeah sure it's sometimes fun to have a game where you just go around killing everyone or whatever but I get much more into something (whether movies, games, whatever) if it has a great story.

So yeah probably just gonna pick it up, can't even remember the last time i played a good horror game, it's probably been like a decade lol.

Lol wait you mean you forgot you had taken the cough drop? d--- that must have been crazy when you started feeling it and wondered wtf was going on, I assume you remembered shortly after you had taken it, right?

But yeah honestly man if I can get kinda legit creeped out by the game, then I think that's awesome cuz not much really does that for me anymore. Plus I don't tend to get TOO high or paranoid or anything since I smoke on a fairly regular basis usually, it's just more of an enhancer for me. But yeah I'm thinking I probably won't even smoke for now, gonna probably take my smoke break as planned and just go the sober route for this game. If I get like REALLY into it though, I could see me being tempted to hit up the weed shop lol.

*edit* also d--- looks like it's up to $58 now for prime members, but yeah I know what you mean with the pre-order prime deal, I got madden like 12 bux cheaper that way too, good deal.

Yeah I had all the DLC & everything for 5 when I had it on the 360, was 2 achievements away or so of having them all lol. I never gave the older ones a try, but I'll play them soon as I'm done with 7.
Imo they should make the remakes like 3rd person in re5, but make it more so as horror. Bringing back the old school zombies & environment.

Is that in the Xbox store?

I rarely finish games these days, but this game hooked me in and i played it 4 times to get the platinum. I don't know what it was but it was just a good game.. Wish it had more original resident evil stuff, namely zombies. But there are a few nods to the old games, the save system, the storage boxes, etc. Overall it's a f---ing great game. I kind of wish they started a whole new franchise though with this instead of making it resident evil.. If you have a psvr i definitely say play it in vr. Awesome experience.

Finished over the weekend. Will play the DLC now, still contemplating whether I should do Madhouse... I already was freaked and stressed enough on Normal in VR tbh even though I f---ing loved it.
