His verse wasn't bad, but I don't like the song that much. It's starting to get catchy tho. I'd say the song overall isn't bad nonetheless. This is my second time listening to it. 6/10

It's an enjoyable song and I like the fact he's not rapping like he has to prove himself and goin super fast so we can finally understand him.. With that being said tho a 10/10?? I mean it's sad to think that Em has been so off lately that ppl actually are rating this a 10! This is the greatest to ever do it at one point.. If he woulda did this in 2000 -2003 we woulda been like WTF IS THIS??? Yes it's just a pink and Em song.. But still he's far from what he once was and I still hope one day he can get it back.. I do have high hopes for the next album tho..

I didnt read the whole thread but I'm getting a feeling that people are all rating this song based on a variety of criteria, ie. "Its good for what it is" is a different rating from "Its good for an Eminem verse"

Like we can judge this on its merits as a pop song, as a verse in Eminem's catalogue, or up against other current popular rap verses, etc.

I gave it a 5 comparing it with the rest of Eminem's work. Wayyyyy too many better verses for it to be anything more than average. I think 5 might even be generous.

I don't dislike the song really at all, its definitely not bad, but no way it's better than 70-90% of all Eminem verses, surely?

2. Same s-----y delivery, don't care for the lyrics, uninteresting flows (how do you go from I Remember / Bully to this unoriginal, bland rap-singing?). Pink is ok (she was terrible on HCTW)
Em on HCTW > this > WBD. Three awful songs.

I'd be like wtf if he dropped this in 2003 because it's not what that era's Em would have done. A song with Pink ? Come on... But I don't really see any flaw on the song. If Em wasn't so anti pop back then, I wouldn't really say wtf to this song in terms of quality.

Em didnt have anything against Pink, even back then. She's not mainstream pop. Shes about the only singer that springs to mind for him to collab with around 2003.

i mean.. He collaborated with Elton John back then.

Which was also a big gamble for both artists. But what I meant was different. Elton John just sang the hook of Stan, a classic song of Em which already sampled a pop artist's song. Revenge is a very poppy song, sounds very unlike 00-03 era Eminem.

My point in sayin that tho is people givin it a 10/10 song.. If this is the 10/10 wtf u rating k--- You, Stan, The way I am, Til I collapse, etc.... Those songs back then are just on a completely different level then this..

well i actually liked the voice sounded fresh no more recovery era also sounded kinda different from mmlp2. i think album material will sound totally different though. i give it 8 cos we starving of em's music lol
