May 11, 2018 I was out drinking when it leaked. I came home drunk and hella excited because finally another Em album. I was so dissapointed that I sobered up after 4 or 5 songs.
May 11, 2018 Without even commenting on the rest (as no editing could make Revival a classic)... I can't believe you say the Untouchable verses are corny? And that this seems to be the majority view. Some of the best rapping and lyrics on the album, have no idea what people are the f--- on with that. The only track, from the whole album, which actually got me excited like a usual new Em track as well. I heard it at work like 'wtf is this', had that magic Em feel, a new feel, and I replayed it constantly for about a week straight.
May 11, 2018 lmao someone is butthurt and you just called Offended a classic? LMAO are you good? Do you even know what a classic is? We're not talking about "good" or "listenable" or whatever, you straight up called it a classic I shouldn't be bashing anyone for having an opinion and what not but calling Offended a classic just isn't correct
May 11, 2018 I’m not even sure there’s a single, true bonafide “classic” Eminem song on Revival. There are a few really good to great songs on the album, but a true classic? I’m not so sure.
May 11, 2018 so u know people have different tastes, did u? If you r 12 or something im happy to enlighten u to the fact
May 11, 2018 me butthurting? saying the one thats yapping spraying his saliva? yes, kid, i know what classic song means to me. you want to be mr dictionary and battle me with objectivety here? LMAO. yep. offended is 100% classic to me. I don't give 2 thousand s----s whatever u like it or not. You probably one of them guys that listen to Childish Gambino and thinks that the Drake can rap, pfffff xD
May 11, 2018 Believe & Arose are both classics to me, and I'm sure that most people would agree. I could understand someone not thinking believe is a certified classic but there's just no way people can argue against Arose imo; the writing/imagery is some of his best ever and the concept is incredible. Great flow and the production is top-notch. It really is amazing. Just a shame that you have to listen through a lot of s--- to get to it.
May 11, 2018 Cringleys...sad Revival is old as f--- now...thats why you put out a good album in the first place...anyway we are livin in a fast paced society now ...so Revival was last year...and ya they dont make albums like they used to...f--- you hiphop my life sentence is served
May 11, 2018 Yea I agree with Arose, that’s the only track in my opinion that is worthy of the classic label. Even though it’s worthy, I’m not completely sure it’s a true classic, in terms of his entire discography though. But I certainly wouldn’t argue against someone who felt it was. h---, there are moments when I think it’s worthy of that label too. I definitely wouldn’t put Belive in the “classic” category though.
May 11, 2018 I agree. Believe is alright, but it is a bit overrated here. For me, personally, i enjoy Walk on Water and Castle way more. And of course, Arose was the peak of this album. Unfortunately, I don't feel like listening to any of these tracks much and haven't heard one from the album in months. Nothing on the album is "classic" for me
May 11, 2018 how can you be defending yourself by saying everybody can have his opinion but then go on and judge everybody else that listens to Childish Gambino and Drake? u see what's wrong here? get your head clear and think before you try to insult other people lmao I'm not sure either, time will tell, atm it seems like this album will age the way Encore did, it'll have great highs and bad lows but I couldn't judge whether we got any classics or not (but Offended isn't one by far imo) probably the best shouts for a classic but as I said, it's too early to judge atm imo
May 11, 2018 Encore had way more highs though. And the highs were arguably higher than on Revival. For the record, only 6 months have past since the release day and I know that's too little to say it has aged. My point was that the whole album sounds even worse now than on release day. Which is quite remarkable cause I thought the album already sounded s---.
May 11, 2018 Haven't listened to any of it since I forced myself to listen a second time for @Papa Alpha Andy and @Koolo. Legit one of the worst albums I've ever heard. Chloraseptic remix is cool though.
