May 14, 2018 id describe it u gave a quick half listen trying to score message board pts (lol) by writing a smug review on the toilet. then we pushed u to actually engage w the -admittedly bad- material. so 1.5 listens feels more accurate. edit - and ya Chloraseptic remix is cool. i like arose or whatever the last two songs are... and believe is almost dope.
May 14, 2018 Actually I was driving from corpus cristi to Austin the first time I listened I gave it a fair evaluation that I prefaced with the fact that I'd only heard it once. And of course there were some things I missed after only one listen, but nothing that majorly affected my enjoyment or the overall quality of the album. There's a couple songs on there that are solid, but holistically it's a mess. On SL I gave MMLP2 a pretty good reaction upon my first listen, and what I predicted was exactly what happened: that it tapped into my nostalgia vein and I would enjoy it for a couple weeks and then it would get old and its flaws would overtake the nostalgia factor. I'm extremely fair
