    Truth.

Which is something which could usually never be said for an Em album.

Love or hate it, all other albums... 'boring' was not usually a word you could use to describe them. But Revival is like FUCKKKKKKK is it over yet? I don't ever feel like listening to it. It's a f---ing drag.

It is over-hated but also vastly overrated by some — that’s just what happens with a big artist like Em...we get both extremes: some blindly love anything he puts out and some love to hate him, like those lingering in the Emsxn, claiming they have no interest in him

It’s obviously not his best work by far but we have glimpses of brilliance & some top-tier tracks: WoW, Believe, Bad Husband, Framed, In Your Head, Castle, Arose (and even Untouchable, fight me)

But we can’t deny the lack of cohesiveness in the album (same with MMLP2, as much as I love it) — the whole of Believe is insanely sharp writing/delivery, especially the third verse so it’s mind-boggling how he can have that standard of wordplay — full of double entendres, metaphors etc — on the same album as tracks like Need Me, Tragic Endings & Remind Me where his writing is dumbed down to basic similies...it’s f---ing annoying

Other than Believe, Offended and Chloraseptic it honestly felt like we barely got any hardcore rapping (hint: because we didn’t), unlike Shady XV & MMLP2. Just f---ing rap.

Campaign Speech came on shuffle the other day and there’s basically more bars in 8 minutes than on most of the album. That’s what it feels like anyway
