    Its not an act, he is socially akward and always has been. Look at his TRL interviews, he acts the same way and he didnt do as much drugs in his early years as people think.

    People also underestimate how f----- up you get from what he has been through, the amount of drugs he used, the overdose itself and beinf clean now all the time. I've been through some of it(didnt OD) and i recognize some of his behaviour.

    There is a large part of his life that he can barely remember because of the drugs and that really f---s with you, makes you feel like you cant trust yourself and it takes years and years to get that back. He seems a lot better though lately, more "aware" if you will.

    The industry has changed though. HipHop back then was just as big, if not bigger than, Pop music. Its the other way around right now. Dance/DJ's is/are what HipHop/rappers was/were back then.

    *Sigh* no he didn't and he never will. That's the (pure sales) albums Chainsmokers have sold throughout this whole year. Eminem is doing close to that in his first week
