Country Grammar went diamond in 2016. Not in 2000. The ending sales for Country Grammar by 02 was close to 8x platinum. That means it took 1.5-2 years for it to reach what 50 did in ONE YEAR. Not to mention In The Club>>>>>>>>any single Nelly ever produced. That song immortalized 50 forever and is the universal party anthem for rap music. Plus 50 was played more in the streets than Nelly and had the hottest crew in New York outside of Dipset + set more trends. He cornered the market. Nelly just sold records.
