Second, even if 50 sold 8 mill in 2003 but only decided to buy the 6 mill certification. He only certified as 6 mill. Its not an automatic thing. Those dates mean nothing

Not Embarassing, because while soundscan counts the sales, there was no surplus of unbought Nelly or 50 records lmao. and no when you submit to the RIAA they calculate shipped by that date, which means in December is when he shipped 6 mill, not 8 mill. He couldn't sell 8 mill if he hadn't shipped it. Both Nellyville and GRODT haven't been counted in years, last estimates had GRODT at 8 mil and some predictions have Nellyville around 7.
