    I can name A LOT of worse albums but only 2 that are better: SouthPaw, and HTS.

    that being said i can't imagine man in the woods (or anything) being worse than revival

    Both were disappointing... had to of been staged so Kendrick and Drake could shine lol

    Compton > any Eminem album except maybe MMLP / SSLP / TES

    On topic, Man Of The Woods.

    The eminem s--- talking is getting just as cringy as the stanning but half of Revival is indeed terrible. Not gonna lie it has some songs that I like. As a whole though yeah its pretty mediocre/bad.

    Man of the Woods has some meh songs but that's compromised by some gems. So basically it's okay/good to me.

    Compton is a really really good album. It's a shame it got underlooked because ppl thought it was a film soundtrack when it wasnt. Not only are some of Dres best songs on there but sonically it's amazing. Animals is still Paaks best song Imo and Kendrick had verse of the year on deep water. Also King Mez is like the only serious artist from Raleigh and he's all over that album. Compton might be Dres worst but that's like saying d--- is Kendricks worst, it's not even an insult. Compton >>> detox leaks

    To be fair if some of the Detox leaked were turned into proper songs it might have been amazing as well. 'Popped Off' that was given to T.I. with a Dre verse is one of my favorite songs ever.

    That said, Compton is up there with MBDTF for me musically. Every song is a new sound and its a perfect mix of vintage Dre and modern day music. I honestly don't see why people say it's not a good album.

    Everybody that worked on it delivered. And yes, I mean everybody. So good to see the old people (Snoop, Cube, Xzibit, Eminem) bringing their a-game and newer artists (Kendrick, Paak) also shining on it. And Dre himself sounded great as well.

    Beautiful album.

    I think it probably has to do with the fact King Mez, Justus, Jon Connor and Paak were relatively unknown and atleast one of them was on every track. I think people wanted to see a Dre album filled with Snoop Kendrick Game and Em features instead of what we got

    Perhaps yeah. But this is exactly what makes me like it so much. It shows that both 'old rappers' and 'new rappers' can join forces and create a great project. Like a huge f--- you to the stupid discussion about new vs old.

    Yeah I prefer it this way too. Still though the production is so amazing it really doesn't sound like anything I've heard before I don't get the hate at all

    True true. And yes that is also one of the biggest reasons. I like albums where every song has a completely different sound.

    Eminem's album only bad because people jumped on the wagon with other haters. JT's album was good. I never liked JT albums as a whole. I'm not a big pop fan.

    revivial easily. eminem's album was awful. eminem is one of the worst writers in hip hop
