Apr 22, 2017 @WPG Pitchfork review http://pitchfork.com/reviews/albums/23197-back-to-the-basics/ Why is it only 7.5??
Apr 22, 2017 Yeah it is better than Slime Seasons & Jeffrey. Only problem I have is I wish Never Made It was longer than 2 mins.
Apr 23, 2017 "Heart Cold" is song of the century. Also, "Replay" is going to be a hit, watch. Clubs are going to be playing that s--- nonstop.
May 7, 2017 I'm in the camp that thinks Jeffery is his best solo project and his best second only to Rich g---. Quan's tape is amazing though, that doesn't take anything away from it. I'd put it up there with Thug's best work or at least close to it.
May 7, 2017 I shared your opinion on Jeffery when it first dropped/a few months after, but SS1 & Barter 6 are significantly better imo Jeffery is still like a 8/10 for me, but I think this quan project might be better
May 8, 2017 I think it is better than Jeffrey. Jeffrey is still very good but not as good as SS1,SS2 or B6.
May 8, 2017 I started listening to Quan and Thug around the same time, that being Still Going In and 1017 Thug. I really didn't like Jeffery at all if I am being honest but I thought Back To The Basics was amazing. I think I prefer Thug's raw style versus the more pop sound he has now. Quan on the other hand has stayed true to the style that got him famous in the first place. I figure if I started listening to Thug at Barter 6 (arguably his magnum opus), like most, I may feel different about Jeffery. So, yeah, Back To the Basics > Jeffery.
